Dragonlordjl
Okay, for the most part, I love this update. However, there are a few major loopholes in it: 1) It's soooo easy to lure people. I don't really know how to fix it, either. 2) People are taking turns killing each other for massive profits. This will destroy the economy and will also enable RWTs to make huge profits. To fix this, simply make it where you can only obtain loot from killing a character on a specific IP address once every fifteen minutes or four times an hour. It has to be based off IP addresses or else RWTs could just switch accounts. Having it based off IPs makes it much more difficult for them to circumvent. 3) Miasma spells are overpowered. For over half a minute, Miasma Barrage halves your attack speed, effectively halving your damage output. Against melee, this is fair, but against rangers, this is devastating and unbalanced. Would a dark bow even attack at all with this? Solution: make it only affect Melee or make it affect Ranged for 1/4 of the time it affects Melee. TheAncient
I thought our little test basically proved there wasn't a good way to farm kills, at leas for no-armor Also keep in mind of the decay rate... Miasma spells will effectively be very expensive to cast considering the cost of each new staff after 15 / 60 minutes + Also, we need to prove if the decay is A) you can wear it for a total of 60 minutes or B) it decays 60 minutes after you first used it If its B, then I'd say the new armors are underpowered, except for the helm (+40 compared to Torags). No way is it worth it to pay 10M, or even 1M, for an hour for +20 def and +5 attack (for plate/legs) compared to Barrows. Even the weps are kind of underpowered; GS is still comparable Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? Solution: make it only affect Melee or make it affect Ranged for 1/4 of the time it affects Melee. i tested the fighting friends over and over losing 100k+ each time.... the more you kill each other the worse the loot gets. my friend killed me and i lost 100k.. he gained 200k in items, i kill him he loses 100k and i gain 200k in items... next kill is about 120-150k gained... next kill is 50k gained... next kill is 1 item worth 20k at most. if you don't switch targets you get less and less loot. also i noticed if you don't die (losing items) and continuously kill ppl (even if you don't know them) your loot is drastically lowered as compared to if you die and lose 100k+. this is another way to take items out of the economy, you always lose, and if you don't die on purpose... you get shrimp as a drop from soneone who loses 100m -_-

Even the weps are kind of underpowered; GS is still comparable I did it tonight with other friends, with both of us having 75k cash in our invs. I made about a 400k profit after two hours. Some people can make tens of millions. Also, I guarantee that if they don't adjust the decay rate on the staves, the price will go through the floor. As you said, no one will want to use one if they get it, so they'll immediately put it up for sale. After enough do this, the market becomes saturated and people start selling for min. Dragonlordjl
Some people do 10s of millions because they are lucky. Two of my friends have gotten pieces of new armor which sold for 8.4m. You got a DFS. Two people I've seen got DFHes. Luck is all it is. But the fact remains that people are just farming the drop system, which is not how it was meant to operate. It's all reward with little risk. I've seen three staves. Three in one day isn't that bad. Look at how quickly the Arcane shield became price-locked. It was originally quite expensive and now it's locked at limit-down, because even with the absurdly low drop rate, enough people do it each day for too many to enter the game to be balanced by people who can afford/have the desire to buy one. I doubt anybody will pay 10m for one of these staves. I see the price settling at around 2m.
wolfmon56
1. You die and lose what you make sometimes. (also its random) 2. Too hard for RWT to know what they give the person that paid for the stuff. It's too random for RWT to sell money and share at the right price. 3. Spell isnt overpowered... Cost a lot and the staff is 10mil

Cost a lot and the staff is 10mil1. This is true. But have you heard of Banks? Like in obscure places such as Priffindas and Miscellania (or is it Eceteria?)? 2. Not really. They could have a customer pay a flat rate for x amount of time to kill them. 3. This is also true. Indeed, one might say that the new staff, and equipment suck. Who in there right minds will pay millions to wear and wield items that last for a maximum of one hour and may or may not be used in non PvP worlds? If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
The_Gabe
You're mad because wkw got a robe top aren't you? >. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
@Dan3HitU
Personally, I think they ruined entirely what PvP was about. They should have just done this; Re-started the wilderness (with the levels as they were) and just done this whole "item-drop generating thing" and it'd of been perfect.
