After about level 73 mage, what's a good way to level up mage? I'm looking for a happy medium way, not over the top expensive and takes a short time, but not a very low cost but takes forever kind of method. I'm looking for something that I can spend some, and take a decent amount of time.

this might take a long time, but you could try superheating mith bars.(buying all supplies)

 

 

 

you lose 70 coins each time, but u get smithing and magic xp. This was how i got my mage up. If you dont wanna lose that much, wait for coal prices+ mith ore prices to go down, or mith bar to go up.

About how long does it take to do 1k superheats?

i never timed myself, but it definetly takes quite a long time

Ok, I'll keep that one in mind too (and yes, I've done Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor for all lunar spells).

you could also try making your gems in bracelets, or the best piece of jewlery you can make, enchant those then high alch those. Idk how much exp i make but it gets rid of those excess gems in your bank.

I don't really make money constantly, I do it when I need it, otherwise I'm usually just doing some skilling, making some gp here and there, and relying on MTK, but for training mage, I'm willing to do some moneymaking, so I'd have to see what I can do and the gp/hr rates.

 

 

 

I'd could probably go green drag killing, mining coal/iron, slaying, and runecrafting, neither of which I'm sure of the gp/rates. If needed, I could look for better money making techniques.

Alternatively you could go to the mining guild and mine the coal and mith, super heat, mine, super heat and bank. Everything would be a profit and you could even make mith knives for ranging aviansies. Pure profit.
