How to fight Elvarg

What does Elvarg attack with? I wouldn't know, and I don't want to take a risk (Since I currently have a money shortage, so I cant buy new equipment).

He uses melee and his firebreath hits up to 9 if you have an antifire shield.

He uses a Fire Breath, and occasionally claws. The maximum you can get hit by her is 10, providing you are wearing the Anti-Dragonfire Shield. I would recommend that you wear Adamant, and carry a full inventory of Lobsters. That is how I defeated her.

even though elvarg seems like a big deal at level 83 he actually isnt. i just recommend meleeing him with stats of 30attack 30str 30def. combat level somewhere 30s or 40s. Just bring anti drag shield and good food either lobbs or swordfish. use scimitar and any other equipment. u r not risking anything. just bring 3 items including drag fire with lobbs and ull win. its easy.

I did it with 40 def (tank) and 50something mage. It's much easier than you think.

Ah, I remember when I made 27 anchovy pizzas jsut to kill it.. took me over a week to make them.. and i kill elvarg eating only one and a half! what a letdown.. it's really easy

I mined coal for months saving up for full rune to fight her. I was sure that it would be the most epic battle of my Runescape career.

I failed at melee but i just kept hitting her with full rune (except for chain) and an addy scimmy. I went into the batle without an anti-fireshield thingy, and she hit me high :)

 

 

 

But.. i was like.. 38 combat? and i owned her. Bit like the monkey madness demon, there e buying 1k addy arrows, best range armour, 20 lobbies...... me using 1 lobbies and 1 dose of prayer potion. What a let down... Trying to sell addy arrow back was a nightmare.

The most I've seen her hit was a 9, and you should eat a lobster or swordfish everytime you get past half health. Ex. you have 40 hp, she hits 8,9,8 you eat a lobster or a swordfish. It is actually pretty easy, and taking a strenght potion helps out to. Recently, I took a level 42 to fight her wearing full addy, a rune skymmy, and a strenght ammulet. He had 32 defence, 35 hp, and 16 prayer and beat him on the Second Try. He didn't tell that he also brought a rune 2h, and when she got down to low health, he got hit for a 27. Poor newby, I felt bad for him and bought him back the addy parts he was missing, full inventory of swordfish, and another strength ammulet. I told him he should take addy gauntlets just to be safe and he ended up giving me all the just in his bank for it. Next time, he only used 6 swordfish before she was dead, and my little newby grew to 46 combat =D> .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edit: Your stats should look something like 40 attack, 30-40 strength, and 30 defence. Take full adamant, a rune skymmy, a strenght ammy, a strength pot, 15-18 lobsters and 8-10 swordfish. Adam gaunts not nessecary but can prove to be helpful. Drink a dose of strength potion and enter the fight. Pray Protect Item if you are unsure of yourself, or just pray the highest attack boosting prayer. Eat at half health, and you should do fine.

 

 

 

Another thing, Im pretty sure that there is a wall that you could hide behind to eat, but be careful while using it, dont run there when you have 5 hp left because his firebreath could hit you while you rune there.
