I can only get one game between now and christmas. I'm leaning towards Far Cry 2 but here are my options..

 

 

 

Far Cry 2<>Fable II<>Fallout 3

I can only recommend to not spend cash on FC2. I'm playing it currently, and it's really disapointing. I get thrown into some place in Africa, not know who i am or what i'm doing there, only that i'm out to kill this war-lord... All the missions is basically "shoot everyone you see". I was really hopefull for this game, amazing graphics, runs smooth, ok sound etc... But nope. It's not the worst thing you can spend your money on, but there's alot of better things out there.

 

Fallout 3 have gotten very nice reviews... Might wanna check it out. Haven't tried it myself, so i don't know.

Well Out of the three I'd go with Fallout or Fable. The Far Cry series sucks in my opinion.

Far Cry (the first) was [bleep]ing incredible, a masterpiece FPS that ranks up there as one of the best FPS experiences I've ever had. That is, the PC version, not the [cabbage]ty "infected" or w/e one for xbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fallout 3 I have to say was a disappointment for me, mostly the ending. It's still a fun game but I'd rent it...

I only own Far Cry 2 and Fable 2 so I can't say anything about Fallout 3, however both are good in my opinion but offer completely different games. Far Cry 2 can get tedious because the missions are a bit samey and there is a lot of travelling, but the graphics and gameplay is amazing. Fable 2 also has great graphics and the combat system is decent, there is a lot of scope for freedom in both games but perhaps more in Fable 2 content wise.

Fallout3 IMO, Far Cry 2 Blows Hard and Im a PS3 Gamer so i havent tried Fabel 2

i have a ps3 and hav only played fallout 3, if it were me id get fable II, but im really into rpgs, if you really like rpgs then go fable II if you really want a shooter then go far cry 2 and if you want a little bit of both then go fallout 3

Just because you think someones wrong is no need to object their opinions, I dont OWN Farcry 2, I rented it...Helped me save 50 Bucks worth spent on something better, like Resistance 2

Actually, that is wrong.

I say buy Fable 2, Far Cry 2 is barely worth a rental, imo.

 

 

 

Mercenaries 2 did what Far Cry 2 is trying to do much better.
