November 2, 200817 yr You could probably be ok...but maging at dks is THE best use of guthans in my personal opinion. I'd advise that you get guthans. I think that the set is under 4m now :shock: I don't use brews at all when I go(only went once and don't plan on going again) and don't pray. As long as you dont mess up, you could just heal off the spins and stay down there until you run out of antiposions, casts or your armor breaks. Get the mace. November 2, 200817 yr You could even if you didn't have the sgs. Fruit bats allow me to not even have to use my guthan's when I dk. And yes, the mace is definitely worth it. (Unless you die with it and have to get it over again #-o )

While fruit bats are more annoying to use at dks than a bunyip, you don't need to use guthan's allowing you to use the time normally spent in spawns to summon fruit instead of heal off the spynlps or however you say it. You could also use it to summon fruit whilst you are killing rex without wasting an attack, allowing you to gain food even when you are attacking rex. I use about 200-300 scrolls a trip usually which costs about 32-48k I don't see that as too much especially since the cost of runes when you are using CoG is immense. And yes, I have used both.
November 2, 200817 yr I solo rex with veracs and bunyip and 4-6 brews lasts me like a hour. So a fruit bat + SGS I'd imagine you'd only need a few brews for safety reasons. Help drive change Canada

I'm guessing that you had terrible luck, because I went with guthans and ponies and I never had to use guthans or pray until I ran out of antipoisons...I seriously doubt that that extra bit of range defense(and less magic) made that much of a difference. November 3, 200817 yr Claws of Guthix is definitly worth it. Without guthans and only using bunyips instead of titans you will have shorter trips. During those short trips you will want fast kills to compensate, to do this claws is great.

With guthans and bunyips you should be able to do 3 hour trips once you get used to healing and potting at the right times.
