Well i was thinking about this and why cant there be some kind of voice mail on ur ingame character in runescape. Ur friend pms u while ur offline and when u get back online u go to ur friends list and see a voicemail icon. click on it and a text will appear saying exactly wat message u were given by ur friends. i think this would be one of those updates that would make things more useful for members as well as f2pers. Your thought?

Maybe you could make a new POH item, a mailbox. This way, players can send letters to you. The amount of letters in your mailbox should be limited, depending on which size your mailbox is (higher construction, higher size). Max should be like 20.

i dont understand how ur messages will be spam. its not like a bot sends u messages. and u can choose as to who can send messages. there should be a box that allows u to have messages on friends/off/or all. if u choose the all option expect to get spam.

yea but its like pming someone... famous ppl would normally have their on friends so that only friends can send them these messages even though they are not online.

I like it, because then it allows for much easier communication to some of my friends who are in completely different time zones than I am, making it sometimes difficult to talk.

I spam my friends tbh, we have spam wars. This would just incite them.

but i think this is easier communication. sometimes they r not always on and u need to tell them something.

Yes, I think this should be limited to just friends. Your friends won't spam you with 60 messages, and if they do, that's your problem.

Anyone played 9dragons? the pigeonogram works the same way, and it works great... just make sure the messages come out the other side in english, not all question marks like 9d -.-

i dont understand... did i not clarify in my post. i said that an option is under ur chat box on this voicemail thing. it will have on, friends, and off... so... that solves our spam problem. and if ur friends spam u then well too bad lol.
