transcript80
1) Are my goals do-able within a year if i play upto 30hours a week? 30h a week? WOW. I have no idea TBH 2) What are some basic quests someone like me should do toget around easier/faster? Priest in peril, (morytania) Myreque quests (Barrows and southern swamp region) Elf quests (crystal stuff, unlock Elven lands) the skill unlocking quests for herblore and summoning. Grand tree for travelling purposes. Tears of Guthix for weekly minigame for free xp, Kingdom of miscellania/royal trouble for MTK money making. 3) What quests should i do to "unlock" the best weapons? Elf series for crystal bow, monkey madness for dragon scimitar, lost city for dragon dagger, recipy for disaster for dark gloves 4) Any other information is much appreciated. I spent most of my early days questing. It is a nice way to discover new areas, get into stories. Unlocks new areas, modes of transportation, weapons, armour and you get some free xp most of the time. Not even mentioning the HOTTEST cape ever (ok, I'm biassed, only cape I have). Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
Eddo89
Fairy Part 2 is a quest that is SUPER helpful. Fairy Rings > All. But requirements are steep. Plague City for teleport to Ardougne, and you have not tasted members unless you froze all the armoured fools in CW. Templar GuardiansWhen are trying to lend something, the word to use is borrow. Not barrows, which is a mini-game.
nicrune007
#1 you just calculate the average rate of xp you normally get when training it. Eg Per hours Melee ~ 50k xp per, Slayer ~ 12.5, Woodcutting Willows ~ 80k, etc. If you spend sometime to count it you will know. #2 Getting around - Fairy tales pt2 , Watchtower , Edgar , Monkey Madness... #3 Whip - nope, Sara sword - nope, Broad Bolts - nope, Ancients - Desert Treasures #4 In Soviet Russia - Car drives you! Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username? 99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/
RayOxide
You dont have to have the requirements for FT2. Only to finish it - and the rings are pretty quick in. If you're persistant, and can train a skill for a week without getting bored, I'm quite sure you can get over 80% of your goals. If you cant, it will be trouble. ;) I dont need a siggy no moar. Bauke
Yes it's possible. With effective training you can accomplish a lot in a year. I have a question for you though. You're getting a year of membership and all you want to train is non-member skills? And a lot of quests are useful. Some due to their rewards, some due to their access to other areas, items or other quests, etc. Due to your ambitious goals, I'd say you have to do a lot of quests. Too many to name here, I think. I'm going to be annoying and post something which isn't an answer to your questions: chances are, once you discover the members' skills, that those goals are going to shift big time. When I became a member, I was so mesmerised by the new skills that I forgot all about the f2p ones for months.
obfuscator
Some of those will be hard to get. Certainly you should do some basic quests, and as others have said your goals will probably change as you go on...
