For example, my graphic design teacher gave me a 95% on a participation grade. What the hell?!

She has even stated nobody will ever get 100% on an essay, ever. Of course, with how tough she grades it's hard to do especially well anyway, but there have been people who got a 96 with pretty much no errors to speak of. Command the Murderous Chalices!
