November 9, 200817 yr About 2k tokens, but you can turn a profit if you pick up the black and mithril+ items that they drop and sell them down a level to the armor shop. Also, be sure to look at every pile of bones carefully - sometimes the bones sit on top of the defender, so unless you right-click you may miss the defender. Also, run. All the time. Saves you precious seconds.
November 9, 200817 yr A few simple tricks: Log on to a maxed server (w2 , w6 , w144) because they are full, fastest monster respawns. Less waiting then Run everywhere, if you are to run Use super sets! use your best weapon available. You want kill as many as you can as fast as you can. this is done with super sets and good set ups. Depending on your money situation, you may not want to pick up any non-defender drop. Every drop you pick up, the less you are attacking. The less you attack the more tokens/time it will take to get those defenders. So try not to pick up anything if it isnt in your way. Try to stay to one area of the map and alternate 3 spawns or so. this is easier on full servers. Every kill make sure to right click the bones, Defenders are easy to miss. It took me 1200 or so tokens, but 2000 is the average I hear. It took me about 500 more tokens for 3 more defenders Defender is best shield in game for training (I own a dfs and rarely use it except in special circumstances, defender is superior because of attack bonuses) Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning
November 9, 200817 yr defender's worth it, no doubt, although i only recomend it for 80+ defence, since it lacks def bonuses. i used steel armour for gathering the tokens, and it csted me 400 tokens (i got very very luky, since i got black, mith, addy and rune defender in my first drop as i entered the room, but i heard (mostly in this topic 8-) ) that the average is 2k. good luck
November 10, 200817 yr Playing a few hours a day, it took me maybe 3 days? I can't remember how many tokens that was, but i think it was fairly quick. I always expected it to take me ages, and was pleasantly surprised.

November 10, 200817 yr I can't say much about this, although it took me less than a thousand tokens. I probably got lucky. Obviously, it IS worth it. It has a str bonus after all :thumbsup:
