Where did you first hear about RuneScape?

well i was playing cs waaay back in the day and a buddy i recently met and was playing with told me about this game... to ignore the gfx really and enjoy the gameplay.. nonetheless the gameplay itself got me addicted and here i am.. 8 years later here i am.. i was taught everything from then on.. good to have a buddy that knew what he was doin

A little more than four years ago, three of my friends introduced me to the game. At first I didn't try it but after bugging me for like a good month, I caved in and made an account. Now I am the only one who still plays. :lol:

Some forum that shut down in 2003 that had a bunch of free games on it and it had RS on it. I was 5 at the time (2001) and I thought that "downloading content" meant it was downloading on my computer. Had to ask my dad.

My friends still play, but they are around lvl 50.

My best mate was always my " rival " on it, because he was always a higher level than me. Like when i was level 3 he was already lvl 9. When i was lvl 12 he was already lvl 27, and then he became mem and so stormed ahead :lol:

 

 

 

We had some good times, and when i got scammed he gave me 400k to make up for it even though i only lost 50k :lol:

 

 

 

He quit around level 92 about 2 years back, i quit this summer at level 74 :lol:

 

But i beat him at quite a few skills :

at my school we are required to have laptops, but whenever we our internet on theres this guy that can catch you playing games and you get in trouble, so i dont know a way around that.

 

 

 

 

 

oh and I first heard about runescape because i saw some kids playing at school and i saw the website was called runescape so i tried it out and i liked it

The new kids at the school were playing RuneScape. I couldn't sign-up there, so I signed up and home and have been playing ever since! :thumbsup:

I first see my cousin playing back in 2002 or 2003, and at that time the graphic was a bit roughed compare to now. He was in Lumby meeting his other friends to go wildy to kill some hill giants. I just take a peek and suggest my cousin to pretend to be a girl and see what happens (and without a doubt, bunch of people start making those flirtious remarks, so I was like hmm, not that interesting, another typical online game)

 

 

 

In 2005 my cousin and his friend start playing again, and they were mentioning how hard it was to train so I was like it can't be that hard, whats the highet lvl your friends got, he said 75 (and he was a member). After, I signed up through Miniclip and start training (spend like 10 min deciding on names though, coz i dont want to regret it later), in about 2 weeks and half time, there done, combat lvl 78, my cousins and his friend were like WTF, what did you do, lol. (Speaking of which, it only took me about 2 months and half get combat lvl 100, and that was all F2P, plus I also train other skills too, but really, it isnt that hard if you dont get side tracked too much)

 

 

 

Now, I am the only one that still plays, and my cousin and his friends no longer interest in RS anymore, but they still talked about it in their school sometimes.
