January 22, 200917 yr Author This is the best read ive had for a long time. After all this reading I have many theories and I REALLY wish someone would discuss this deeper. I havent done the WGS quest but I remember that one of the requirements is Mourning Ends pt2 and as I know, u (the player) was supposed to stop the dark portal from opening so that Zamorak doesnt ener the realm. Now, I have a theory that Zamoraks army may be enslaved Dragonkin since they lost theyr power due to the loss of Stone of Jas. I am currently doing Ghostly Robes miniquest and I have noticed that there was talking about the empty lord but no1 said the true name, maybe it was dragonkin? Also, staff of armadyl has a lot to do with this so maybe the dragonkin were trying to get hold of staff because it is needed in destructing them. Also, I think that the Stone of Jas is the source of MAGIC as itself. There was no real explanation how does magic work and it might be that the ones that encountered Stone of Jas could use magic and that runes are like "concentrated one time use magic" and the ones holding SoJ could use magic freely. Lunar guys discovered LUNAR MAGIK, the desert ppl discovered ANCIENT MAGIK and Im not sure who discovered the NORMAL MAGIK. So if Lunar ppl discovered lunar spells when they encountered Stone of Jas, the desert ppl encountered it also while it was in the fortress in the SOUTH (the compass riddle) which means the SOUTH FORTRESS is in the desert (the Arasposanda (isnt it Arposandra Qua?). The question is what were gnomes doing in the desert anyway, but it also seems like a very cool and interesting quest yet-to-come. They didnt say who was the person who found the spell for the rune essence mine (all those wizards found it together or sumthin like that, right?) and probably that person found normal magic too. Also, the spell used by the wizards to teleport us to the essence mine isnt from any known language so maybe its the language of the Ancient Gods (the ones that are with Jas). I have a theory bout making dragon items. Maybe dragonkin IS from Franskrae, they only came from there before Mahjarrat. First of all, all those insane ppl that think that we will be able to make dragon items, ill tell em that we surely won because rune pl8body has very high lvl needed so theyd have to extend lvl max and surely they wont just for dragon equipment. I suppose that then maybe they also found the spells from Stone of Jas to forge dragons and imbue then with magic and give them life seeming as they reproduce like they are normal beings (only if it in some totally other way just that the egg breeding is a mask and behind it there is somehing else just like green dragon said in postbag) and maybe dragon breath is like a spell they have in theyr "spellbook". I suppose that then the fairy says that the dragon swords are freshly from franskrae because some fairy (dont remember which one) said that time makes little difference in theyr world. Maybe the fairy world is actually on another plane conected with dramen staff teleporting and maybe fairyes have been to gelienor before dragonkin came here. What do you think about these thoughts? When you reach the end of the Ghostly Robes miniquest, you'll find that you're told who the empty lord is; its Zaros. As for the requirement of Mourning's End Pt. 2 for doing While Guthix Sleeps, I can't say for sure why that's there. It could be that, while not directly related to the Elf storyline, While Guthix Sleeps requires an adventurer of the highest caliber, and that means someone who has done that quest. As for the Stone of Jas, it was discovered by a Fremmenik boy in a cave. This was used by the Moonclan (lunar magic users) to create all the runecrafting altars, yet the remainder of the Fremmenik tribes destroyed the altars, believing them to be against Guthix's wishes. So yes the Stone of Jas is the ultimate source of all magic.

Maybe the fairy world is actually on another plane conected with dramen staff teleporting and maybe fairyes have been to gelienor before dragonkin came here. EDIT: Ive read so far to the 4th page and it seems sum1 already wrote about the connection with dragonkin being from franskrae. Maybe dragon riders were dragonkin riding on dragons? As dragonkin alone had bout 350hp when fighting robert the strong (bout lvl 320 cb then?) maybe the quest (probably next grandmaster unless jagex thinks they should concentrate on some other part of the game but dragonkin in next GM uest) will include dragonkin while on the back of the dragon as the lvl 500cb boss monster? Only problem is that this is all very impossible because dragonkin came be4 first age and zamorak (and zaros as leader of mahjarrat and mahjarrats) came long time after that so zamorak couldnt be the leader of dragonkin, and if so, why didnt mahjarrat come with dragonkin? maybe dragonkin was banished from franskrae? franskrae sound like france (the country) xD (or maybe ":S") What do you think about these thoughts? Problem with you magic theory is that Ancient Magicks were known by Zaros or the Mahjarrat, not sure wich of the two but I bet on Zaros, who then thaught them to the Mahjarrat and some of his other minions. The modern day magic came, so I believe, after the God Wars. I also think that Arposandra is in those mountains by the Poison Waste (in the west), or very near there. Dragon Riders were also part of Zaros' army so I highly doubt that they are the Dragonkin. I do support the theory that Dragonkin originated from Freneskae.
January 22, 200917 yr I have also this theory: that vyrewatch are evolving to dragonkin. Maybe because of the influence of the castle? Maybe because dragonkin sealed the town under the castle, they are trying to take over the morytania through vyrewatch because they dont want to risk theyr lives because they cant "reproduce"?

As Legilgalad said, Vyrewatch are possibly Icyenes and I hope we will release them when we deal with Lord Drakan.
January 23, 200917 yr they could be icyene and still be transforming to dragonkin, or some "copy" of them
January 23, 200917 yr Author they could be icyene and still be transforming to dragonkin, or some "copy" of them Its an interesting theory but what supports it? Why exactly are the icyene transforming?
January 23, 200917 yr because of the influence of the castle. maybe the icyenes that were living in the castle have become corrupted by its evil magic or sumthin like that
January 23, 200917 yr i dont think the vyrewatch are corrupted icyenes.....i thought during the legacy of seergaze quest you learned they were people who made some strange type of deal with saradomin that turned them into vyrewatch so their souls wouldnt get taken by draken besides i dont think they're making more vyrewatch....they're making more vampyres....2 totally different things...learned that from one of the citizens in the ghetto by castle draken
January 23, 200917 yr About the Vyrewatch, they are people (mayority Iycines) who lived in Hallowvale (AKA Sanguinesti modern day) that couldn't escape from the Zamorakian forces led by Lord Drakan. Most of them were forced by him to become a kind of slave, AKA a vyrewatch, some of them did it because they thought they would be granted by Drakan. However, they all turned into Vyrewatch, probably by a kind of blood-process, but that's unsure. Those who were enslaved by Drakan, made an agreement with Saradomin, he would save their souls, so they wouldn't get corrupted, what did happened with their body and mind. The Iycines and humans that got across the Salve, made a Columbarium in Silverea, the place where now Paterdomus stands. It was (and still is) a place where the souls of the enslaved Iycines could be freed. As a thank, the soul would grant an adventurer who slays his corrupted body a key, to open a lock which contained their belongings, as a gift. To me, the theory of Vyrewatch copying Dragonkin is like saying that the Gnomes are copying the Dwarves, because they are both small.
January 23, 200917 yr When you burn Vyrewatch corps, some other deity pops up. These don't resemble the Dragonkin though. Also it looks like I got owned by Guthix: Something written by the most awesome guy ever. My two cents' worth: Frenaskrae is the plane where the warriors who fought in the God Wars were called from. They were armoured well apparently, and were equipped with dragon weapons and armour before they were brought to Gielenor to fight. Thus, the case appears to be that Jukat (thought it used to be Jakut?) sells dragon weapons that came from this plane, from some stockhouses probably. Of course, they were made by the dragonkin, but then stored in Frenaskrae to arm the warriors. Of course, that's pure speculation What do you mean with that? the only ones from Freneskae who fought in the God Wars where the Mahjarrat. And they were brought here way before that. No other warriors That's my two cents, wich compared to your two cents is like fifty bucks. No one knows that. During the God Wars, Zamorak was said to have called forth many foul and savage beasts new to Gielinor. It is entirely possible that he called over some of Frenaskrae's native species. This comes from the God Letters: I have also come across the Lost City of Zanaris, and all it has to offer. I have also been in the marketplace there, and there I had come across a fairy named Jakut, who was selling swords of a type of metal called Dragon. The fairy had also told me that these weapons were from a realm called "Frenaskae" or something similar to that effect, however the name or spelling eludes me at this point in time. The guardians of Armadyl who I have also helped in my travels have also told me about this place briefly, but I cannot remember if they said it was a place or person. Either way, it is all very mysterious to me. This realm or person must hold extreme power if they have these weapons made of this material called Dragon that is even more powerful than the Runite or Rune metal we know on RuneScape. Is anything known about this place or person, whatever it may be? Freneskae is a realm of near constant warfare, that hath developed techniques and weaponry far beyond the inkling of most mortals. It hath influenced this land, for many warriors that were used by mine brethren in the wars of the gods came directly from that plane, and when defeated here oft did drop pieces of their strange and powerful equipment as they fell. Such powerful equipment inevitably became prized amongst warriors for both its power and sturdiness, although most warriors desirous of such equipment cared little for its origin.

January 24, 200917 yr I know in Darkness of Hallowvale there is that laboratory at the end of the quest. Maybe they were doing experiments on the Icyenes to corrupt them and make the Vyerwatch. I haven't done the Legacy of Seergaze quest so I don't know if they explain what that laboratory is for in that quest and I don't really remember if they explain it in the Darkness of Hallowvale quest either. So I could be wrong.

January 24, 200917 yr Werent they using the lab to find a way to make ppl "produce" more blood so that they can give blood tithes more often?

January 24, 200917 yr For the people who ask where I got this info from, I got everything just from what I read in RuneScape, everything was said either by NPC's, or out of books. About the "deity" when burning a vyrewatch, it's the soul of the Iycine that is freed from the corrupted body.

It's just err... well thought-out speculation based on more speculation and facts.
January 24, 200917 yr Author The spirit that comes out of a burning vyre body is very likely a spirit icyene, however no one can be certain at this point. The actual name of it, if you hold your mouse over it, is "Spectral vyrewatch" and its examine is "A graceful transition of a troubled spirit to a peaceful end."
January 26, 200917 yr That would be pretty cool though, fighting a dragonkin with a dragon weapon, every blow you land on them transfers power to them... its like trying to fill a sieve with sand! Including draconic visage, d chains, d spears, d2h, d claws, d meds, d legs, d skirts... d bones, d hides :)?I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?
