F2P Runecrafting.

I'm F2P, and want to do some serious rcing. I don't feel like spending loads of money on tiaras and talismans, so I was just planning on doing runes. I'm considering crafting either airs or earths. I've heard from many people that earths are the fastest xp runes for F2P, but I have no idea if that's true.

 

 

 

What is the fastest xp rune for F2P'ers?

 

 

 

Edit: I've pretty much settled on earths, but is it faster to just rc them, or get gloves then rc?

Earths if you have earth gloves.

If you really want xp, go get the earth rc gloves and earths all the way. However i really do prefer airs for the profit.

air runecrafting isn't that good money anyways, so just craft earths

Earths = loss + less slow xp

Earth is a clear wnner here so go for erths as he gloves dont cost many tokens.

if u want profit air, don't care of a little lost earth but if u are really rich and don't care of losing it, then i would say body

Earth w/earth gloves. Not as much profit, but faster exp.

I wouldn't bother getting gloves when runecrafting earths because with the same time spent getting tokens for gloves you could get more than 2 times exp when crafting without the gloves.

 

 

 

Why are you runecrafting on F2P anyways? There are better ways to make money on F2P than 8x, 9x or even 10x air crafting (if that's what you're aiming).

Thanks for the input folks! The reason why I am runecrafting in f2p was to simply gain access to the RC guild and the Great Orb project. Since I don't really ming losing money, I guess earths are the way to go. :thumbsup:

I recommend playing the Great Orb Project to get tokens to buy the ess. After that keep playing Fist of Guthix until you have enough tokens for all the rc gloves you'll need. Then simply runecraft Earth runes.

 

 

 

If you follow these guidelines, you can get to your goal RC level and it won't cost you a single gp! :)

There are people who will go out of their way to make body tiaras (I was one) but nowadays using earth gloves and earth runes are good. Also they're usually 16ea on GE :D

If you use teleport to varrock, earths are fastest. You can also use those rc gloves if you have spare FOG tokens.

I actually like just sticking to airs, I do it for the moneyz anyway. :P

I always liked airs, I did almost all of my runecrafting with them. I did something like 10k ess worth of fires and 35-40k of airs. Earths with gloves is probably the way to go though.
