Farming problem

sometimes you plant them a little later than when the timer ticks and you miss a cycle. So you'll just have to wait a cycle longer.

Yep. In Depth:

The farming clock always ticks. Like this:

ACTION-----5mins-----ACTION-----5mins-----ACTION

ACTION is either GROW, NOT GROW or DISEASE.

5mins is an example, different crops have different clocks (tied in to a Master clock I believe).

Some crops have 5 stages til growth, others 10 etc.

So basically when you plant a seed you have to wait to the clock to go round to ACTION. This could be 5 seconds, or 4 minutes 59 seconds, dependant on when you plant them.

GROW is linked to farming level and happens most of the time.

NOT GROW is rare, but does happen on the odd occasion.

DISEASE causes your crop to become diseased. It does not advance the growth, so when you cure them you have to wait another cycle. Even if you pay for your crops to be looked after they can still become diseased, but the farmer cures them for you, you still have to wait the extra cycle.

Most of it is right, but I'm not sure about it being linked to your level. My herbs are almost never done after 75 minutes either. I also think the clock doesn't tick every 5 minutes but more like 15 minutes, sometimes they're stuck in the last phase for a long time.

To prevent this from happening, just make your shedule less tight and go every 1.5-2 hours.
