It's called a vexel (portmanteau of vector and pixel). But to be honest you save them in the same file types, so it's not really that big a deal. It looks great and has so much more style put into it than the simple "trace over an object" vectors that people seem to think makes them so skilled. Love the image, but I'd get rid of the right side text. I don't really think a lot of people on PR know anything about other mediums other than what goes on into a signature anyways. Hey I like it, I just don't like that "smile" text coming out of his mouth.
