my friend just told me to get swiftkit, but after i downloaded and realised you log in from a url in swift kit itself made me think, is this safe to use? or perhaps just another thing created to steal your account? please lemme know if somone out there uses this, and if it is safe

I use it. I find it useful for my RuneScape needs. It may be no use for you if you don't need those features. My experience is that it is safe, which is also my believe. But don't change your mind purely because I and above poster agree is safe, reserve some judgment.

well i mainly want it to take screen shots, as ive gotton over 60m in drops i would have loved to take pics of cause no one ever belives me, but meh i have the cash to prove it :P

It might be safe, but that's not a 100% guarantee. Otherwise, why would have Jagex tried to make it illegal? This goes for anything of the sort (Tiko for example).

 

Unless it's an official affiliate of Jagex (like Miniclip, unfortunately) I advise you to stick to playing via RuneScape.com

 

If you're yearning for calculators and stat look-up to be on the same page as the game so much why not download an add-on like Tip.It's Microhelper? It's perfectly legal, as an official response from Jagex said it was allowed. :)

The banning is not due to third paty clients being a threat, it is the capacity to be a threat. Player welfare is high on Jagex's list, perhaps too some may say. And some is due to the capacity to place players on advantageous positions and threat to the running of free servers due to ad blocking.

 

 

 

Swiftkit is perfectly legal if you are wondering for it does not breach third party client guidelines. Again, it does not equal to perfect safety.

SwiftKit is safe and the only way I would ever play Runescape.

If it crashes a lot it's because you have too many instances of Java installed. Happened to me and I had 12 entries in my programs list!

Either way its perfectly safe, but if you use the long screen I would use the official Jagex RuneScape client, and use Tip.It for calculators and everything like that.

Swiftkit is safe, it used by a lot of players, and various scans have been run on it. I have used Swiftkit since it was SwiftSwitch, and I have never had anything bad to say about it. It is a very helpful piece of software. You are best off running your own virus scans, and have a look at what other people on Zybez have to say about it.

It's been updated, you can play on the full screens now, they fixed it about a week after the full screen came out.

I stopped using it when that screen came out.

 

Either way, I still think using the official client is better for the longer screen.

thanks for the tips guys, i just wasnt sure if i used it to log in next time i go on all my items would be gone and id have like 60m in logs or something dumb like that, i really just wanted it to take screen shots lol, but i went on swift with my pure and nothing has happend yet so i do think i am going to try ussing for a while. :D

If you're talking about stat look-up it's because you got the level-up without logging out. These programs rely on the RuneScape Hiscores to give you stats, and in order for the Hiscores to update your stats you need to log out after getting the level-up.

ye i logged out and it has updated on the highscores but hasnt changed on my sig yet, i even went into the combat calc, and it says im 93 now now im halfway to 94 but still no change, not a big deal but i would like it to update lol :wall:

I use Swiftkit and have been using the Swift "series" since SwiftSwitch. Jagex has said that SwiftKit is legal, so no rule breaking there. Its very helpful, however for screenshotting I still use QuickShot from ImageShack. Just a personal preference I suppose.

completly safe, it's hosted by zybez a highly know rs web site. but it is know to lag and even crash at some horrible times, so just beware...lost me over 10mil, i odnt use it n e more
