If you spam the turkey emote in the fist of Guthix waiting room the game-start skips you 100% of the time. Curious, I did some digging, and discovered this secret hidden message from Fiara, guardian of the Fist of Guthix and a representation of Guthix, in this letter from the postbag.

 

 

 

 

Dear Fiara,

 

 

 

I love Fist Of Guthix, well i really love the free runes for my magic experience anyway. But i have a question for you. When I've been wandering around collecting my charges I've noticed several pillars around the edge of the arena. I thought nothing of these at first, but upon noticing them the second time, i noticed they have the symbol of Saradomin, the 4 pointed star. Now i know Fist of Guthix is a mini game given to us by my favourite god, Guthix. So why is Saradomin's symbol here? Did Saradominist's followers sneak past you while you were sleeping or something and vandalise your Mini game?

 

 

 

I'd love to know what happened.

The Fist of Guthix was never meant for anyone but GuthIx. Unfortunately, while GutH x sleeps, there Are plenTy who would disagrEe - gods, Mahjarrat and men, all after its power. I'd expect nothing less from humans, feeble creaTURes that they are, but Saradomin should have known better. I recall when Saradomin's Knights came to claIm the Fist, and to make the caves their temple. Their Efforts were frustrated, of course, and, as Saradominists often do, scrawled the symbols on the wallS as they left.

 

 

 

I have been guarding this cave for mortal lifetimes and have encountered many who seek the power of the Fist. Thankfully, in His wisdom, Guthix deemed it necessary to further safeguard the Fist, tasking Crux Eqal with its protection. As such, those who pass me are still far from acquiring it. In the meantime, I'm left to babysit a bunch of power-crazed, thankless mortals and keep them from causing too much damage. *sigh*

This brings up some questions. Why does Fiara hate turkeys? Does Guthix also hate turkeys? Dragonkin look suspiciously like turkeys.

 

 

Maybe turkeys are actually failed guardians for Dragonkin, which they latter replaced with dragons? (see information on the quest "while Guthix sleeps" for more details about the Dragonkin and dragon creation). It makes sense that Fiara would not want Dragonkin-related beings into the Fist Of Guthix arena, because the fist of Guthix arena is strongly connected to the Stone of Jas. The crater in the centre of the area is a large imprint of the Stone Of Jas, and the closer you get to the crater, the stronger the energies become.

 

 

In order: Stone of Jas, Fist of Guthix imprint, and the Dragonkin symbole.

 

In my opinion, this is the impact site of the Stone Of Jas. The Saradomin stars on the columns around the arena are made by Saradomin cultists who wanted to take the stone (also known as the "Eye of Saradomin") as use its power but didn't succeed; Guthix sent Fiara to keep the energies left from the stone from being used for good/evil, keeping the balance. Now it gets interesting: Due to the recent breach by humans into the room behind the door in the Ancient cavern, and their subsequent discovery of dragon-smithing, the Dragonkin have become desperate for support. They want these energies to make more dragons, reclaiming the world from the humans that took it over when Robert the strong drove them into hiding. To do this they have sent their turkey-spies all over Runescape, cleverly disguised as a Thanksgiving event. Fiara has gotten word of this and blocked turkeys from entering the arena and thus saving the world.

(Yes, this is a joke, but it is true that you can't play fog while using the turkey emote).

I wouldn't put it past them.

 

That's why I shoot every turkey I see with my automatic crossbow and then gut them so that they won't come back as zombies.

If you do any emote or open a game screen in FOG you won't go into the game so it's not just turkeys.

You and I need to discuss a few things. Namely, the log market. . .
