Well I'm wondering how to continue from this part:

 

 

 

I used the broav to track towards the khazard building: and then went downstairs (and another time downstairs to some strange door)..

 

 

 

 

 

There a friend told me to look at what type of "backfiring" it did: and according to that backfiring you needed to use a different rune. So got that "curse" type backfiring: and I used a mind rune.. This went into the door: but when I click on the door again 3 elite guards spawn and I get hit for 35 + get poisoned... What am I doing wrong?

I brought a few of every rune, and a load of fish and antipoisons. Tried out each rune until the door opened.

 

 

 

Not the most elegant of solutions, but it works.

an easier way is to click examin on the door and you see a bunch of symbols engraved on the top of the door. each one represents a different type of spell and you have to cast. simply look at each group of symbols and cast the spell that is missing.

I had your problem aswell, it sucked even more for me because I was capped and tabbing out takes a good 15 seconds (final boss got me to 15 hp lol) :-#

 

 

 

What you do is use the first rune that the order of symbols indicates (because you messed it up the first time, you will now have to put in the SECOND RUNE in order, you won't need the first one). When you put the rune in there, instead of opening the door you have to search it instead because there still is a trap in there. After you've entered that door you will never have to search it or put a rune into it, you can just click on it like any other door.

I succeeded on my first actual search so I don't know what happens if you fail it. If the rune disappears from the door you probably just have to put the next one in order. If you don't know which rune you're up to try and look at the spell the door casts at you (i think it does this when you try put in the wrong rune) and use the according rune, for example if it casts a wind spell use air, fire spell use fire, etc.

Look at the guide on http://www.tip.it/runescape. It explains it really well. When you look at the door you'll see a message that says "Further Access is Prohibited" or something along those lines. One of the letters is actually a symbol (you have to look carefully). Compare that symbol to the chart on the Tip It guide and you'll get the rune you need to use on the door. Once you've done that you still need to search the door to disarm the trap. Hope I helped.
