RayOxide
No, not a rumour. Just an Idea i had reading some threads on Rsof and here. I had thought of some new city ideas, just thought I would post them here. Once again, be free to post your own. (Notes, every name just came up in my head as typing this :P) A wilderness city: Name - Desuwan Area - North of the Ardy Lever teleport, an island off the coast. Requirements - A new quest, mid level quest. Medium level requirements, and requirement to solo kill some revenants. Quest - A story based on Revenants, basically just telling stories etc. What's the big deal? - Well, I thought a wilderness place would have a bank run by "Friendly" revenants, a few places to do things, aswell. Also, a use for tiles, like building the tower in the middle of the area, and dodging revenants aswell, like a single person minigame that you can do one part of the tower per week until its finished. Say, 12 parts. 7 downstairs and 4 upstairs, and one room at the top? After this, you could possibly have a place to train a harder skill, like Construction, or Runecrafting. Runecrafting, you say? Yes! As the idea of the tower would need a pretty high level construction and crafting level, 70 both possibly, it could have a portal on the top that teleports you directly to your chosen altar destination! Much like the Abyss, but with no bother of passing through those evil little bugs and trying to get into the room. What else is here? Well, I was thinking that there could be another spot, just outside of the area, where there are many big bones spawns, and a few iron, and coal mines. Also very close to the bank, making it a decent place to train mining. A person in a house who is scared of revenants will ask you to do a mini-quest for him - bring the soul of a Revenent Knight to him, and he will sell you a special type of food, created just for revenant hunting, something that protects you from getting frozen, teleblocked AND lowers the ranged max by half. Like an antifire potion; it lasts a length of time. Also, selling this man a new 'rare' item that revenants drop only after this quest, "[name of revenant] Soul" (trapped in jars you buy from him for say 100gp each), depending on the revenant he will pay upwards of 35k for them. (only accepts Orks, Dark beasts, Knights, and Dragons) Making use of the tower facilities when you have finished making this, in the main room there will be a ghost butler who will serve you some food for free, 3 per 30 minutes. Untradeable. A bed will heal you completely, not including disease or poison, or prayer. An altar upstairs, will restore pray and add 2 more on it. Anything else? Only thing I could think of would be another Friendly Revenant who will protect you from any revenants which are attacking you, if you get to him before you die. An outback mini city: Name - Ausellia ( ) Area - West of falconry spot Requirements - 50 Hunter, to catch annoying beasts wrecking up the city. Quests - none. Home to many hunters, and the 'Hunter Guild'. The hunter guild isnt really a guild, its just an area that will buy certain items for G.E price. Like feathers, raw bird, etc. (A stock on main where you buy items for half GE price, 50 items max per hour) - 66 Hunter and a spottier cape needed to enter Has a bank chest inside the 'guild', and a chinchompa salesman, who sells 2 new types of chinchompa unknown to runescapists, 400gp each 'Dark chinchompa'. These chinchompas are much like red chinchompas, with 3 less max hit (with 75 range, the requirement), but is much more accurate, never hitting under 5. (Yeah, pretty much a GP drain. Same price on the GE) 1300gp each 'Chinchompa of death' These chinchompas are the equivelant to red chinchompas, but have a special attack bar, where the special hits over 15 on every monster it hits - full bar drain. (85 range requirement), Also same price on GE. I also thought that here, you could buy a falcon, which becomes trained more often you catch kebbits in the falconry area. The more it is trained the more faster you can catch kebbits. Generally makes it more xp per hour, and could be a top way! Enough about the guild. There will be a lady upstairs in a house whose obsessed with keeping cats. Her cats go missing once a week, and she has 5. This is much like penguin hunting, but you get more xp per cat if you do it quicker! I was bored so i thought of these, I like the wilderness one :P Rate and comments please :) I dont need a siggy no moar.
Zaaps1
Nice ideas, although they seem a bit too "out of the way" to be "main" cities. I like the content in them though, but perhaps create an easy way to teleport to them? I would think Plague City, you can access the cities before, but you can't teleport there until the quest is done. ~It's Super Effective! RayOxide
Could make the wilderness area teleport a higher level quest required teleport, and you can tele there from any part of the wild? For hunter place, may as well Thanks :P I dont need a siggy no moar.

Bauke
I think Jagex should focus more on extending the cities we already have. For major cities, Varrock, Falador and Ardougne could be a hell lot bigger. Perhaps they should rewrite some of the map so the cities can be extended. I mean... you can walk through Ardougne from south to north in 20 seconds. That's not a city... that's a small village. Ts_Stormrage
Sophanem has the potential of becoming a main "out-post in the middle of nowhere" type of city, and so would Pollinivneach be if it had a Bank and a General store.... Forerunner
An outback mini city: Name - Ausellia ( ) Lol, I couldn't not comment on that idea. I love stereotypes (& nobody hold that against me cause I live in AU), there could be a bunch of Crocodile hunters going "Crikey!" & "Bugger!" every two seconds (Again, NOT RACISM). Great idea. This may kill the whole idea of lvl 50+ wilderness, but is the Wilderness city actually considered "wilderness", or is it a safespot? I could really use a safespot up there, since I have to dodge alot of revenants to do my clues. Only fear God,Know the weapons of the weak,The weakness of the hard.
