A way to trade Holiday Items to still "Keep it Fun"!

Featured Replies

Because RS ment for holiday items to be "FUN" & not for pure profit most holiday items are not tradable. Well I thought of a way to make both the developers of the game & the players happy. You could only trade holiday items for other holiday items and not for money or other material values. This will allow the "FUN" of the holiday itmes to stay along with the trading of them as well.

I think it would be better to allow Holiday items to be Lent and Borrowed, rather than outright traded for keeps.

How about if you could set your holiday items - then the skele suit, santa suit, warlord suit, chicken suit ... ffs there's a lot... would all fit nicely in 4 bank spots. And also if you could lend sets out, that would be awesome.

Wow. You know what else we should do? We should make it so Godswords can't be used in combat, that way people won't want them. And, for everyone who has a rare, let's just make them disappear from the game forever.

The reason Jagex doesn't stop them from being traded is because it is too late. Now that they're out, you can't just stop them from being traded. Then anyone who already has one is out millions of GP. Stop being lazy, save your gp, and maybe someday you'll get one. Don't try to make them worthless just so you can own one.

The untradeable holiday items should be made lendable/borrowable. But not tradeable. This would make a lot of people happy, as those with lots of holiday items could lend them and make a few gp at the same time (ask for money to lent, so basically 'renting' the items) and those without them could borrow the items.

making it tradeable only to other holidays is actually useless.

nobody would want to trade older holidays with recent ones and it would be very pointless.

however i think that they should make holidays lendable.
