Typically a remote viewer is expected to give information about an object that is hidden from physical view and separated at some distance. You will then be able to see through it's eyes for a few moments. So you can see a good amount of extra area which could be helpful in the wild or while PK'ing. Depends whether you are taking advantage of the PvP or the emptiness of skilling areas. You can use it for recon where a farcaster couldn't catch you (you would have time to leave) or it would allow the hunter to find a target and take effort to catch them off guard so they can't just teleport.
