Arixe
Broad bolts are about the best to train with imo. Best cost/damage I believe
asianboy7o7
that or bronze knives or............... black knives vs tormented wraiths
Seraphi
sorry, I'm not understanding....you were using a halberd to train range...? aside from that, use broad bolts and rune crossbow.
chaosoffar
Did alittle testing myself and I'd say broad bolts/rune xbow unless killing low hp monsters then use steel darts. Arrows seemed to be slow xp.
Kellis
Broad bolts tanking at Aviansies to earn money (20-40k exp an hour + lots o' profit), then either save the money for chins (if you're going to try for a 99), or use it on knives, which can then be used on caged ogres, yaks, fire giants, or other safespottable/low defense monsters. T. Skill
Broad bolts are your best bet. Or bronze knives if you're fighting something in which Rune C'bow would be overkill. @ross_the_knight: I think he means that he's tired of hallying from a safespot and wants to train range now. Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?
JohnPax
I would use iron knifes at yaks if I were in your situation.
Nel Tu Oderschvank
Econimically? I guess Bronze knives. Iron knives are more expensive than Bronze knives but only give +1 more range bonus. Unless Bronze knives are not on sale, Iron knives are alright. Other TIFers are right though; Broad Bolts are pretty good for their damage for what they cost (about 60gp each?). Thus, depending on whether you want fastest training with knives or training that allows you to hit high with el cheapo bolts. :)
