Banks and gold pieces

Featured Replies

In banks, when you right click to withdraw more than one of an item at a time, for gold pieces/coins the options should be something like 100, 1000, 10000 and X, instead of just 1, 5, 10 and X. No-one is ever going to want only 10 gold at a time (newbies who only have 10 gold probably don't use banks anyway). It would only save a couple of seconds each time you bank, but for thousands of people.

It is...

Great idea. Sometimes then I buy stuff and take amount I need to somtimes not all at a time, I'm tired of always doing the X thing. Sure they should keep that "Smithing 5 iron 2h swords" thing, nobody could be able to make 1000 2handers at a time. But yes, they should just put in bank that get that amount. Only a noob would want that few at a time, yeah.

I'm saying it should be 'withdraw 100', 'withdraw 1000' and 'withdraw 10000' instead, for gold pieces only. More helpful, and faster.

Great idea. We may hate rangers sometimes, but they still deserve to get their arrows. If a ranger had million arrows, and just withdraw 10 or 5 at a time? How about wizards with their runes? How about scimitar sellermen with over 1000 scimitars? Well, I think this should belongs to trading, selling and banking only. Not for making things.

um, you would assume that noobs would want to take out at LEAST 100 coins? what if they have less than 100 coins, and only want 15? The system it uses right now already is good enough. And besides, just use the "X", it solves all.

Sup noobs.

I agree, use the "X." I do understand the frustration but the format for coin withdrawal must need to be the same as withdrawing anything. I assume that'd be difficult to change. Remember, withdrawing 1,5, and 10, is useful with herbs, bows, etc.

lol, this idea is so small and unneeded, that i wouldn't even consider this an idea. sorry.

Sup noobs.

I take out 10s and 5s of gp out all the time for useless junk....But maybe thats because im a noob.

Agreed ^^

I normally just drop my hammer or whatever when I go onto training a new skill so withdraw a few gp as I walk past a bank and buy a harpoon or whatever...

this idea would be fine with me, it is quik enough with withdraw X option. It would work well if maybe, once you reached a certain amount, it changed from the small numbers into big numbers. That would make the most sense. In rsc they didnt have the offer x button for trading, so i remember it taking a while with large amounts of money...i would always go over then under etc from clicking too fast.

i would like a withdraw 26 option...it would make cooking that much easier :wall:

EDIT: i just realized that clicking withdraw all has the same effect...brain freeze :|

No...

Back on topic. If you think the 100, 1000, 10000 options should be added, what about those of us to tend to need 100000 or even 1000000? Not everyone has the same income as everyone else, and the reason it stays at 1, 5, 10 is because lower level players won't have 100, 1000, or 10000 coins. They start from the bottom so that everyone can benefit from it.

Besides...is it SO difficult to click "X", type in a number, and hit enter?

  • 2 months later...

i think its a good idea but i often withdraw 1 gp to buy a hammer or a chissel as i think they waste space.

I don't think its a neccersary idea because its just easier to use the withdraw x button because the amount of times someone would use withdraw 1000 or 10000 would be insignificant becuase I am always withdrawing different amount of cash when I am getting quite a bit of money out and am rarely withdrawing 1000 or 10000.

So its just not neccersary to bring those options in because it would be more sutible for people just to use the withdrawn x button like we all have been forever :)

If your so needing a easy way to do it then why not invent a machine that clicks 'withdraw X' and then types in '100000' ...

What? Am I not allowed to have a remotely good idea

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Congrats. You just bumped a 2 month-old topic. Next time, try looking at dates before you post.

you're allowed to have them, and ill be happy when u find one

and yeah.... just use the *take X* and type the number of items you wanna withdraw

I have nothing left to say that others have not already said. The withdraw-x is perfectly useable, the only thing that ye might use this new withdrawal is with what ShadowSam19 said.

If this was added it would simply be added work for the JAGeX team, and I for one would rather have useful updates such as the "right-click for bury bones" in this forum (check it out and support by posting!), when the withdraw-x button works fine.
