pureprayer
First of all this is a comparison of Pyrelord and Bloated Leaches. They both use crimson charms, and Bloated Leaches give about 13 more xp. It costs 6 more shards for Bloated Leaches also thats about 36 gp. A Pyrelord uses a Tinderbox (15 gp) compared to a Bloated Leach using raw beef (60 gp) Thats another 45 gp. So 91 gp per Bloated Leach for only 13 more xp. Now assuming your not a 57 summoner you can make about 90 runs an hour. Saying that its 90*24= 2160 pouches an hour. If you do this with Bloated Leaches its 196,550 extra an hour for 28,080 xp. It would take you an extra 15 minutes to get that using Pyrelords but it would cost 6762 gp. Rounding it out it would cost 190k more to use Bloated Leaches for an extra 15 minutes work. Thats 760k an hour. So if your average income is over 760k an hour use Bloated Leaches over Pyrelords. Tell me if my math is off. If you say to save charms with 760k you can burst rock lobsters for great magic xp and crimsons charms. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
D Jay99
You forgot the extra charms used by doing pyrelords instead.
Owned_Nex
Charms. Charms takes a long time to obtain. Factor that in. Also, swapping pouches for shards is another plus. pureprayer
760k can make back the charms doing bursting and getting magic xp. I did factor in pouch trading back. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
D Jay99
760k can make back the charms doing bursting and getting magic xp. I did factor in pouch trading back. Well, prove it with some calculations I'd say.
Owned_Nex
760k can make back the charms doing bursting and getting magic xp. I did factor in pouch trading back. But then you must factor in time. You see, all three elements(time, money, charms) Although you COULD use the money to burst lobs, money could also be gained from the tiem SAVED from bloated leaches. In the short ru, the pyrelords are better, but as the exp increases, so will the gap between pyrelord and bloated leaches. The gap results in charms. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. Viv
because pyrelords werent out until march  oh you mean now......well most people do the highest that they can make...time versus money calculations are hard for summoning and really unimportant when it comes down to what you make especially at that level. :P
Sir_Kurity
People like to buy skills, because they are lazy. Also, factor in charms. People generally try to squeeze as much XP out of their charms as possible, because they are harder to get than money. O.O
Troacctid
Charms > money. I can make money at anything I want to do. Fishing, farming, cooking, woodcutting, thieving, combat, I can get money from anything. Whereas I can only get charms from killing things. And I can only get the fastest charms by killing stuff that I don't like killing as much as other stuff that drops fewer charms. And between farming, Miscellania, and my daily battlestaves, cash flows into my pockets and I barely need to ask it; charms require active hunting. So yeah, I'm going to be using my gold charms on arctic bears. Priorities, man, priorities. Summoning xp > cash. Inuashakent
You pm'ed me the exact same question :XD: This is more of an H&A then a Debate, as the reason is the same as stated above, and the PM I sent you. Orly_Owl
Well, both seconds are extremely cheap from the stores you can buy them in.. Any general store for tinders, and canifis meat shop for beef, but of course, being efficient powns this.
Alg
It would take you an extra 15 minutes to get that using Pyrelords but it would cost 6762 gp. As someone said before, 15 minutes extra, and all of the charms involved during that time. With those, you could make more leeches and get more exp in the same time. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
Kenneh
People dont want to make anything that gives less xp, cause less xp = more charms needed. Seems like the simpliest logic, but the idea of summonin is make the best you can with the charms you can at the time, unless it's a stupid 2nd like obby/abbysal charms.
