Go ahead and get your guthans its probably the most versatile set out of all of them. You won't need it for pest control though using any barrows armor there is stupid (unless it Dharoks) since you won't lose anything if you die and you should be trying to maximize your str and attack bonuses. The house with the alter there will 9.9 times out of 10 have a armor stand. Just ask the owner where it is. It really depends on your smithing level. The higher smithing you are the cheaper it is to repair on an armor stand. Don't worry about it really, that 15 hours is a loong time. Apparently, my signature was to big. No. You can't use a combat familiar if you have a bunyip or unicorn, so Guthan's is worth keeping.
