That was my first thought when I first read the question xD.

 

 

 

But as many people have said, no. Unless they severely [beeped] up the genetic sequence on the sperm/egg so that the zygote could develop. And even then it probably wouldn't look much different from a human (well, depends...).

 

 

 

Oh, that reminds me. I just read a *fictional* book about this subject. Except they just inserted the genes into a person.

If scientists ever succeed in doing something similar, I will always feel sorry for the product. This would lead to a new type of discrimination, without a doubt.

Well i guess you could take a human egg remove the dna and insert new dna but i dont think that is what you were interested in.

 

 

 

It may have been said but there may be some feasability for a viable offspring from human and the closest related primate thats the only simple way it coudl work.
