December 31, 200817 yr Rune c'bow, broad bolts, antidragonfire shield and antifire pots. They'll hit zeros when using their ranged attack, and you'll quickly go through them. 41 is nothing, no problem.

December 31, 200817 yr Not sure, but where I tried to mage Metal Dragons it was a complete waste of runes. Maging's all right, the best economical spell is fire bolts w/chaos gauntlets. Again, antifire pots and antidragon shield to prevent damage.

January 1, 200917 yr Don't range them, melee is much faster if you have a black mask. Tank them in the Chaos Tunnels; they barely hit on good armor so I don't know why so many people use prayer on them. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

January 1, 200917 yr Melee with anti pot/shield and protect from melee or Range/Mage with anti pot/shield. No prayer required if you keep out of melee range. Use Chaos Tunnels. Trust the Gene Genie!

My friend did a few bronze dragon tasks when he used Chaelder and he could finish a whole task easily with a load of monkfish, wearing a setup with about 250 melee defence. His defence level is just 4 higher than the OP's.
