Maging's all right, the best economical spell is fire bolts w/chaos gauntlets. Again, antifire pots and antidragon shield to prevent damage. Tank them in the Chaos Tunnels; they barely hit on good armor so I don't know why so many people use prayer on them. My friend did a few bronze dragon tasks when he used Chaelder and he could finish a whole task easily with a load of monkfish, wearing a setup with about 250 melee defence. His defence level is just 4 higher than the OP's.
