Pretty simple question, is the item worth 900kish? The only upside for it is the mage defense at places such as bandos, barrows, waterfiends. I also do slay alot, so is the leathertop so much better than the black d'hide?

 

 

 

PS: I can't afford armadyl now, so please don't suggest it. ;)

I love my karils, its more helpful to me( a melee noob) than black dragonhide(obviously)

the only reason why it was so low is because every high lvl was at barrows or slayer

 

 

 

now high lvls have better things to do making some barrows items rise up

You don't need the extra defense for slayer unless you're assigned Waterfiends. For any other magic based slayer monster, Dhide is fine.

Well, it depends on what familiars, prayers, and equipment you choose to use. But for the most part, yeah. I can't remember any other Slayer task...

If you have to extra cash, buy it. But it's definetely not required.
