I have had my D Sq in my bank for years. Over all that time I have lost millions of GP because of the decline in value. Is there any reason to keep it? Is there any situation where the D Sq has any use? Is there any situation where the D Sq is better than the defender for example? I have been trying to think of a reason to keep it but I can't. It definately has no use in pvp, and I can't think of a Slayer situation where it could be more useful than the defender?

Sadly, D square has been obsolete since rune defender came out. I'd say sell it for a little extra cash.

Really, its only good for the defense.. Which isnt really worth the price, since it has no other real effect.

 

I'd sell it and get a rune defender if you dont have one now.

FYI granite shield is worse than rune kite in all stats but range.

Granite is like 3k cheaper :XD:

If you can't afford a dfs, then keep it. It's always useful to have a high defense shield for boss hunting or strong monsters.

Really, if you don't use it you should sell it. I wonder though why you don't use it. The rune defender is way overrated and IMO you are much better off using the D square. I go through way more food using the rune defender than the D square. Plus it looks way better than a defender.

I agree! I love my D square. I also have noticed I use alot more food with defender. Unless you are really hurting for money in the game, I would defenitely keep it.

Sell it if you need the cash. It looks a lot nicer than a granite shield too.

 

 

 

I kept mine for sentimental reasons. I've had my D Sq for years and even though I now use a DFS, I still have D Sq in my bank.

You have to admit, though, it does have a cool look to it - like the old Roman shields that they used in testudo formations.
