I quite fancy getting my hands on the falador shield to boost my prayer stats.

 

I've done most of the tasks but wondered how i was going to get round the "Craft 196 or more air runes simultaneously" one, this requires 66 runecrafting...

 

 

 

Is there any way around this?

 

I've heard assist system doesn't work, but are there any potions, summoning creatures etc that could help me?

 

Or is 66 runecrafting the only way i can get hold of this sheild?

i believe you can get it with 60 if u have a ton of luck with the spicy stews (+ or -6 stat)

 

there isnt another way besides getting 66 rc...

If there is something that raise runecrafting by a visible amount, say 66/65.

 

Then yes it should be possible, but there is no runecrafting booster that i know of other than evil stew from recipe from disaster.

I tried using the lumbridge ring.

 

 

 

there is only a 10% chance PER ESSENCE you get an additional rune.

 

hence, i think you have to be really really really lucky to get enough runes.

 

 

 

I think you'll get lvl 66 by trying to get it before you manage :P

yea i think you need the runecrafting.. but hey this isnt neccasarily a bad thing, rc is a great skill :P

exploerers ring only gives you extra 5 or so runes, not enough for 55 rc+rings

i got 62 rc and used stews

 

 

 

dont try it at 60-61 its too hard to get and will probably run off if u cant do it in time

You can use spicy stew. That's what I did.
