FreezePop91
I have no idea what sparked my mind into thinking this. Why cant we drink OTHER things besides BEER, Cider, Chocolate Milk, and Tea? Almost everything that we drink ends up getting you drunk. Thats no fun if all you can drink ends up getting you drunk, and better yet what is that saying to the little kids that play this game? Well this is what it says "Hey you can drink all you want and not get sick or end up with a hang over." Now some of you will say to me "Hey they are only little kids, how are they going to get hold of BEER?" Well dont ask me, but it happens. So what i want to see is OTHER drinks such as but not limited to; Water, Plain Milk, Hot Coco, Energy Drinks, Glogg*, Coffee, Eggnog**, and Juice***. Any other drink ideas would be great help. Yomyth105
you have the right idea with making drinks useful. note that runescape is set in a medievalish time so energy drinks is pushing it. I agree with others such as water and for clever how it restores run energy but 25% might be a little too much. You guys think it might be good, but seriously this can lower the price of raw materials in the economy which isn't good for you skillers out there. Shipping and transportation is faster (or at least in f2p) so this will make prices lower because more supply is coming in with the same demand. How in hell does water restore energy? If water was to restore energy many items' prices would crash. Also, water, being so easy to get, can't have any HP restoration of over 1-2, or else people would use it too often. The idea of new drinks is not bad at all, but having what you added is not the best idea :| .

And +5 to all stats? isn't that a big excessive, even if it was P2P only? I agree the drinks like buckets of milk or buckets of water, etc. should be able to be drunk, but some of your stats are a bit wack. The +run energy is a good idea, but maybe it should be around +10 and +20, otherwise it may be a bit much. -sees 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
sibmaster
WATER: +5 health, +25% of run energy restored Errm..Just NO! +5 health AND 25% energy restored JUST for water!!?? Overpowered much? Water on the game is so easy to get hold of, 10 glasses of water in inventory..endless run ftw? It should be restricted to regenerating about 5 health and nothing else. Smashing Pumpkins Fan? Mr_Adam
WATER:During the time RuneScape is set, water was unsanitary Milk: meh, makes sense to drink it. Hot Coco:More holiday related I forget completely about what was here (1984) Glogg: It gives health considering you light it on fire? Coffee: I think coffee traditionally restores magic in RPGs and such =P Eggnog: holidays? Juice: Grape(bad wine): Grape juice =/= failed wine. Wine is the result of alcoholic fermentation. Apple: Makes Sense (does for all below as well) Orange: +2 health Tomato: +1 health MEMBERS ONLY JUICE Tangerine: There aren't any tangerines in RS =P Pineapple: Makes sense Coconut milk: Do people actually wake up and think "Wow, I'm thirsty for coconut milk"? *Note mixing juices will give you health equal to the sum of the health given to you by the 2 juices mixed, but a cooking lvl of 60 or higher to mix drinks* Blah blah... *An adventurous drink, glogg comes from an old word meaning burning ember, you light the drink on fire cover it then drink it while its hot I think that's what people do to vodka? Nah, most people drank beer or wine. True, it'd start from water, but it isn't the same. They'd ferment it to kill off all the really nasty stuff; you wouldn't get e.coli from drinking wine but you could get it from drinking water from a stream. facts of history : 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
Obtaurian
You would NOT want to drink the water they had back then. Everyone drank beer, wine, etc. It was far more healthy. FreezePop91
OK I see that you people are fixed on the idea that all water was bad,but there were little things called wells!!! A well is a pit or hole that is dug to reach water or oil. YES they did have wells in the "Time" RS is said to take place. Fresh water could be taken from these wells to drink. Also ICE can be melted to gather fresh water. I have never said that there was no BAD water. Act as one for the whole, not as one for yourself.
