Junkieman
I've not played for like....a while, as my usual rhythm goes, half a year on, half a year off, maybe more maybe less who knows. But yeah, not playing since may/april time, not properly anyway, and I see loops are like...wtf, srsly ridiculously cheap on the GE but teeth are still up there in price. Why the hell did this happened? What on earth went on? At the end of the day, are loops ACTUALLY more common than teeth? Like, can anyone back it up with some good evidence? Just curious, been chatting about it with some fellows and wondered. Ty for any light shed upon the matter!
cnut21
When at fire giants I usually have a drop rate of 3 loops to 1 tooth so yeah loops are more common.
qhal_khek
ive got 11 loop halves in my bank, waiting untill i get a teeth part to complete them ;) so i reckon loops are more common
cat666
It's weird. I had 17 loops requiring teeth but now only 7. Teeth seem to be getting more common. Trust the Gene Genie!
chris1216
One unproven theory from oddfaery2 is that every time you open the crystal chest you switch the rate of loops vs. teeth. I.E. if you seem to be getting more loops, opening the crystal chest once would skew you towards getting more teeth.
wioneo
I've never bought or sold any teeth halves, loop halves, crystal keys, or dstones, and i currently have 63 dragon stones, 13 tooth halves, and 7 loop halves. Until recently they always switched back and forth with me only having one or two extras at a time, but at one point I had 6 tooth halves with no loops and it hasn't evened out yet. GL7
Might depend on what you are usually killing. I get at least 5 teeth to loops.
mister_moocky
In my experience; yeah. But the GE is obviously magnifying the difference. quit
pinguimmaiden
On my last days i just got teeth parts, i got like 6 and got no loops :ohnoes:
Inuashakent
I'd bet that it depends on the monster, but the more commonly killed ones drop Loop. It wouldn't make sense to give that a hugely different drop rate on Jagex's part. GODofbaseball
i'm pretty sure it's based on the monster because when i'm killing turoth's the tooth/loop ratio i get is 4 teeth: 1 loop, so i think it just is the more common monsters 2 kill drop loops Drops:2x Dragon Chain, 8x Dragon Platelegs, 3x Dragon PlateskirtsRecently Demoted to F2P, now getting 99 attack via giant spiders
Troacctid
Yes, loops are more common. No idea why, it seems illogical tbh. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
