d3nic
106 combat but don't know which slayer master would be better to use. Which ones do you guys use? The one in Shilo or the one in Zanaris?
Saru Inc
Zanaris is XP over drops, Shilo is drops over XP Typically, Shilo tasks take em along time to do, while Zanaris ones not long at all. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. Nel Tu Oderschvank
Depends on whether you want to gain Slayer Reward points quickly or not. Otherwise most people would recommend the best Slayer Master that you have access to. Sumona is almost the same as Duradel except that she gives the tasks in smaller numbers. To get points fast, get tasks from Machzna or Vanaka and then go to the best Slayer Master to get the bonus point tasks (every 10th and 50th I think). EDIT: To access Sumona, Smoking Kills needs to be done first. Chaeldar's tasks are alright for since they aren't too tough. Good for casual slaying I guess. Aslan
1.Do Smoking kills if you haven't. 2.I'd say use Canifis master for 9 tasks then take the 10th task from Duradel, for fast points. 3.After you've banned the tasks you hate,go with Duradel.(that's the one I use anyway). 106 combat doesn't equal stats, so the master you should use depends on your stats. Nel Tu Oderschvank
From Runescape Wiki: "Slayer reward points are rewarded when a player finishes a task assigned by any Slayer Master after the player has completed Smoking Kills. The higher level the Slayer Master, the more points are received. Slayer reward points can be traded in to any slayer master for various rewards. The approximate value is 2,121 coins (Based on 35 points per batch of runes). To start collecting Slayer reward points Smoking Kills must be completed, and hence a Combat level of 85 and a Slayer level of 35 are required. Therefore the player will be able to use Turael, Mazchna, Vannaka and Chaeldar already, and on completion of the quest, Sumona can be used too. Points are awarded for every task the player completes after their fourth, until they have a task changed by Turael - i.e. the first four tasks will earn no points, but from the fifth task onwards, points will be received. Every 10 and 50 tasks completed will give bonus points - every tenth task gives five times the Slayer Master's normal point amount, and every fiftieth task gives fifteen times the normal amount. If a player changes their task with Turael, they will have to complete another four tasks before they can earn points again. Also regarding Turael, tasks set by him do not count towards the four needed before points are earned. Many players save their points to learn how to craft Slayer helmets. It is advised to save the remaining points to learn how to fletch broad bolts and arrows, and cancel and/or permanently remove tasks. With the extra points, players often cash in 400 for 10,000 Experience, or 35 for 250 Death runes and 1,000 Mind runes. Players are choosing between 2,121 coins and 25 Slayer experience, point for point. Players who just wish to accumulate points in a short time may choose to get tasks assigned by Mazchna for 9 tasks and then Duradel/Lapalok on the 10th, and then repeat. cat666
The general consensus is if your f2p combat level is 100+ then use Duradel. Under 100 use Sumona/Chaealder. Trust the Gene Genie!

d3nic
I've just done Icthlarins little helper and smoking kills... Reminds me of how much I hate questing. So doing the first 9 tasks with Canifis slayer master then the 10th with Duradel for the points, then just stick with Duradel?
Zaaps1
Yes, but do that only until you have 800 points. After that, block the 4 tasks you hate and buy the Slayer Mask and you're set for straight Duradel. ~It's Super Effective! Keep doing 9 Canifs and on the 10th one do Duradel until I've got 800 points, then go straight duradel.
d3nic
I aren't getting points for these tasks? It says I gained 0 points.
ultimatballr
I aren't getting points for these tasks? It says I gained 0 points. The first 4 tasks gain you 0 points. After that, on the 5th task, you gain your first amount of points. If you change your task with the Burthorpe slayer master you will lose your current streak of tasks and have to start over from scratch. Doing another 4 tasks without points. The only way to get rid of a bad task is to block it or cancel it WITH POINTS. Never change a task with the Burthorpe slayer master from now on. Apparently, my signature was to big. d3nic
Wow only one point per task... How many points do you get for the bonus one? If I need to get 800 points it'd take ages.

RayOxide
Zanaris master Chaeldar, probably the best xp/hour for you, even though you cant measure xp/hour with slayer, but often tasks give us a decent figure I guess. Until you're 105 no summon I wouldnt suggest going to Duradel. Note that changes if you have a bunyip. I dont need a siggy no moar.
