I want to know which Duradel Monster I should blacklist out of these choices:

 

 

 

Greater Demons

 

Iron Dragons

 

Kalphites

 

Suqahs

 

 

 

 

 

I have a cannon and am 125 combat. I probably plan on cancelling these tasks fairly often anyway, but I want to increase my chances of gettings things like Wyverns, Spiritual Mages, etc.

 

 

 

Which is the best candidate for my blacklist?

Greater demons, that dogs are a pain in the neck :)

Only irons from that list.

 

 

 

Others are easy/bearable.

I know you didn't ask but that is my banned list. The waterfiends get taken off every now and then but ATM I am looking for NO STR EXP and since the best way to kill waterfiends is with a Str or Controlled based attack style I chose to blacklist them.

Greaters as your below 127. Once you hit 127, i'd say suqahs

 

 

 

I dont get why people say irons, they can be killed v quickly and are fairly short tasks, much better than the others.

I think danqz's idea sounds best

Suqahs die very easy.Greaters can be ranged in Gu'Tanoth, removing the need for 127 combat.Iron Dragons die rather easy.I'd ban kalphites(going to be my 4th banned monster,after I get 200 qps).

Anyone who says they are bad have only killed workers. The real xp is from Soldiers.

My list is identical except for Waterfiends. Yes they are a pain XP wise as you have little choice on where the XP goes but they are not hard to kill at higher levels and the crimson charms make the task worthwhile. If I get 99 summoning before 99 slayer then I will skip these but until then, I'd be a fool not to do them.

 

 

 

My other blocked task is Warped Terrorbirds however I am going to try the cannon method and if I can cope with it then they will be coming off. Dunno what I'd replace them with, the other tasks are bearable.

The fun in slayer is the variety of tasks. I have NO monsters black listed. I cancel the odd one task when I don't feel like it at the time.

 

 

 

Greaters are...welll...great! They die easily, you can camp there with Guthans, and once the dog go un-agressive after 15 minutes, they are fairly fast. I do Irons, as well, tried maging, but melee is faster. Black dragons I range, or kill babies in CT whle adding some green hides for extra crafting xp.

 

 

 

I had Warped Terrorbirds only once, and Burthorped the (before smoking kills), never had them since.

I can stand most tasks given, the worstI get are bloodvelds and specters (hate them like hell) :XD

 

although with 14.000.065 slay exp it doesnt affect me much anymore.

Hellhounds are raw melee XP and with high stats you can survive with Bunyip making it very cheap XP. The only downside is they are packed by rangers. We need some more Chaos Tunnels, I'd happily waste a few prayer pots if these were there, the XP is that good.

 

 

 

Scarabites are the fastest slayer XP in the game (20k in 20mins). You do however need a cannon and be able to withstand a fair few attacks. Check YouTube for a for a guide on them and try them again, you may like them then, worked for me.

 

 

 

Gargolyes are just annoying cos of the hammer. I'll be honest and say i have skipped the odd task. However since pvp the maul has risen to 130k making a skip of these stupid as I get a maul most tasks. They also die quite fast, so it's painless other than the annoying click hammer thing. Jagex should make you auto strike them with the hammer if it is in your inventory, or make it so it is wieldable in the shield slot. I'd sacrifice my defender for this, even if it offered no bonuses.

 

 

 

I have terrorbirds blocked too. Going to re-investigate though as they are meant to be good XP with a cannon and it is meant to be easy.
