It's been a while ago since I posted my latest photo... I decided to give it another go :)

 

This photo has been made by my new Canon 17-40 f4L lens, read all about it in my Deviantart journal.

 

 

 

I would like some helpful comments.

Everything in this photo has been done just the way I like it. The colors, framing, everything.

I've a;lready commented but i just noticed that that colours in most of your photos is very well done.

Nothing you could really do about it at the time, but the mark on the floor in the foreground and the smudge on the condensation in the glass behind the person are quite distracting.

 

 

 

Overall though it's a nice picture, follows the rule of thirds nicely, too.

Nice, the colours of this photo give the piece a real mood to it. It's also got a lovely perspective, with all the paralell lines on the tiling and stuff. Nice framing too, not too thick, not too thin. I'm just curious, do you know this person you took a picture of? :P

i think it adds to the photo, it shows its not staged, it adds alot of surrealism

The smudge on the wall is pretty distracting, being right next to his head and all. The smudge on the floor I didn't really notice.

The thing on the floor can be easily removed by a quick crop. I didn't even notice the smudge on the window until Nadril pointed it out.

technically both of them can be fixed

There are 2 smudges, the one on the right (those smudges are there, for being dirty windows) and the one next to the person.

 

The thing I like about the smudge next to the person is that it appears that she (its a woman, I noticed later) wanted to look outside to see whats going on, which adds to the story.

 

 

 

The 4 dots on the ground are from some pole-foundation, which might be too distracting indeed.

 

 

 

And no, I did not know this woman. I was waiting for the train, and I get inside this building to wait and I see her.

 

I thought it was a 13 year old metal-head because I heard music coming from it quite clearly, so I decided to photograph it because he/she wouldnt notice me at all :P

I was convinced it was a dude too. The boots, cap, clothes, build, everything :)

 

I think she is.. 30-40 years old.

Clone stamp those stains :thumbup:. I really love the tone and perspective, really gives you that dark and dull feeling.

I really like it. Then again, I always like train stations/photos of them for some reason. I don't know, I just think they're really interesting. :P

That's a wonderful photograph, I really like it.

 

Though just like others have said, the smudge on the window is more distracting then storytelling.
