Tiaras are quite good. Though even the lower level ones are costly. Body tiaras cost around 10gp per xp, so 40k xp will cost around 400k-430k (though The Body Talismans are going down). Either way, the best tiaras to make would be:

Air, Body, Chaos, Cosmic, Earth, Nature, Mind and Law talismans. The best out of these is Law, the worst is either Chaos (because of the maze) or mind (unless you use the abyss to make the tiaras).

If you use the abyss, Nature, Body, Mind, Law or Earth talismans are your best bet. However, as you know, getting to entrana from the abyss is a pain (since you cant wear any armour). In this case, Either Nature, Body or Earth talismans are the best.

If you have a burning desire to do The Great Orb Project, then Law talismans would be better, with Nature shortly behind Laws.

If you really wanted to step up a notch and get very fast xp, you could do either death or Blood tiaras (death being around a third of the price of blood, so death is better).

So, in general:

If abyss crafting (doing the cheapest method): Mind > Earth > Body > Law > Nature

If Abyss crafting (excluding Cost): Nature > Law > Body > Earth > Mind

If Using RC Tablets: Law > Nature

If Cost is not an Issue: Death > Blood

In General: Law > Nature > Cosmic > Body > Earth > Air > Mind > Chaos

I can't use the abyss so I do Body tiaras with a terrorbird from edgeville bank to the altar and back. I get distracted easily, but I reckon I could do up to 10k xp per 35 mins, so, if you can pay attention long enough, I reckon a good 18k xp per hour, or more.

18k xp/hour? That's it?

Well, anyway. I've heard two alternative ways of training RC in the past. Combination Lava Runes and making high-end Tiaras.

I honestly wouldn't know the Xp/Hour and xp/gp of those. And I'm fairly interested.

I'm currently abyss-crafting laws and here's my rate:

I average about 2-4 minutes per trip(I walk, running isn't included). One trip gets me 43 laws (Pouches included) which is 408.5 exp and roughly 12k.

That's not what I'm asking after. :wall:

Look, I have 80 runecrafting. I just want 82. So I'm looking for faster methods than Nat Graahking, Abyss Running and ZMI. All of which I've done before. A lot.

I'm looking for alternative methods. I couldn't care less about the petty cash I make making some runes through abyss or otherwise. I just want XP now.

if you have a lot of cash, Death Tiaras through the abyss would be your best option, I'm about to calc how many you would need and how much it would cost, so I'll edit it in when I've calced it.

EDIT: Actually, i'd try an inventory of them first, so that you can decide if they are fast enough (don't want to give false information out)

EDIT: You would need to make 8483 death tiaras. Assuming you can get all the talismans for mid price (I have included the cost of the tiaras in this as well), the final cost of everything at mid is: 15,057,325

Well Death Talismans are quite expensive and hard to get hold of.

Could you tell me if similar xp is possible with a more frequent talisman? I'm looking at Law and Cosmic Talismans.

Laws are a bit harder to make through the abyss than the others (cant wear any armour). Law Talismans are much cheaper, and very similar xp. Deaths give 50xp per tiara, Laws give 47.5xp per tiara. Law Talismans are roughly 500gp (and dropping), which makes tham a third of the price of death talismans. Making the cost 4,741,299gp for 82 rc.

Can anyone tell me the average time for an abyssal trip, Laws and otherwise?

Some people claim to do runs in one minute. Thoguh this is a combination of their agility level, practice at the abyss (knowing the best routes etc), and if they keep their energy at 100%. The average trip is around 1 minute 30 seconds (give or take a few seconds). However, this excludes the time making the Tiaras. It shouldnt take too long (around 20 seconds or less if you have enough practice). The best way to make the the tiaras is clicking on the talisman then using it with the altar (since clicking on the tiara will make you wear it).

So, I estimate around 2 minutes per run (going down to around 1:40 when you know how to do it all quickly).

Note that making tiaras might not be the fastest way, I just find it quite fast xp, considering that I can;t make the higher level runes.
