February 4, 200917 yr People do buy shards in mass, but you'll have to take lots of junk; you'll be competing with offers like 16gp + junk per shard. Another option is keeping the pouches themselves as junk. The minimum price of a familiar is the cost of the (shards used*25)+cost of second, so you'll almost break even (you'll only lose the cost of the pouch). Buying a godsword to lend out is a good way to get rid of junk. quit

February 4, 200917 yr Why not buy around ~100-150k shards and trade them in for 70%, and repeat? ^ that, other wise you'll end up with a heck of a load of shards left over after trading in, and end up selling them cheaply, just but what you need whilst accounting for trade-ins, plus a few extra to stop you haveing to make a million trips. Unless you haev a long term summoning goal, then the more the merrier. Also double check you can trade in the pouches you're making at your level, whatever they are

You have to do maths all the time... Someone needs to make a spreadsheet which works it all out. Trust the Gene Genie!
