If you miss less then 20% of the time, use void. Otherwise use armadyl. Standard rule of thumb.

I doubt the time spent getting just the range helm will probably be too big of a waste - and something tells me you won't do THAT much more damage.

 

 

 

So it's probably faster to level by not getting the void, in short.

Yeah, I think Im going to stick with my +182 Ranged Bonus. Im watching myself own these giants, and Im barely missing on Rapid. And Im hitting really high, and I dont think Id hit much igher with the Void.

I love my void range. I wear it everywhere. I suggest getting it if you are going to be doing some serious ranging.

Just for a little boost to your set up, I think you should get those 5 extra slayer levels and get broad bolts. They do about the same amount of damage as adamant bolts, but are cheaper than mithril ones :thumbsup:

i have tried both your setup against my full range void and i like your setup better tbh..even though your not missing much now if u get void it might make you miss a little more often.

Yeah.. I hate Slayer. I only have less than a month left of membership, and Im not wasting it killing stupid Slayer monsters. Ive known about the advantages of broad bolts for a long time, but Ive been too lazy to get 55 Slayer.

My Ranged Attack Bonus without Robin Hood Hat, Black Dragonhide Body, Black Dragonhide Chaps, and Barrows Gloves is +115, so is full Void Range better than an additional +67 Ranged Attack Bonus?

It depends on the monster you are fighting. The more accurate you are, the better void is.

 

But, as you only have a month of membership, just keep your setup. If you get it again later and want to train range again, get the void helm. For such a short term goal though, it's not worth the time.
