FierceCold
I've read the official tip.it guide and i've watched a couple of videos, but i'm still fuzzy on some details. I'll be 80 range, 86 def, 75 pray, and my friend is 89 range, 88 def, 73 pray. We'll be using the reccomended setup from tryto's guide, and i was just wondering what type of numbers we'll get from this. How many kills, duration of a normal trip, things like that. I really don't want to raise my range, but if you guys see that its absolutely neccesary for duo range, then i will obviously. Also, when i make a first trip and do all the one time things down at gwd (i've never been), can i get my kc out of the way or will it reset when i leave? Also, how much does each trip cost about in supplies and things? Thanks a lot everyone!
Imamonkey
Your kill count resets when you leave.
manitstinks
It depends on so many things... are you using sweets, spirit terrorbird, zgs spec, what bolts, and yeah you should get ur range up about 85+
FierceCold
Er i'll be using tbird, and ruby bolts for the first half of zil's hp and then diamond i guess. No zgs spec. Would 5 more levels really make me significantly more efficient?

FierceCold
Well obviously higher is better but if i didnt raise my range, would i not be effective at all?
Lacoste
Honestly, 80 just isn't enough to be effective in a duo, especially if your partner also doesn't have 90+ range
FierceCold
Alright then, i'll grind some more. If i got 85 and he got 90 would that be good?
Skully
Wouldn't be the best, but it would work.
Fekambard
Maybe you could consider taking another person and making it three way? Would be easier I guess.
Seraphi
Maybe you could consider taking another person and making it three way? Would be easier I guess. this. three man is more effective for cost of supples:kills sure you get a little less from swords and hilts but you'll remake that cost from the supplies you saved while getting the drop. FierceCold
Alright so trio: 90 range, 88 Def, 73 Pray 85 range, 86 Def, 75 Pray 86 Range, 82 Def, 70 Pray How long would trips last with that setup, kills etc? I know its not exact but a rough estimate once we're comfortable with the system?
Seraphi
I'd say 20-25 kills as a rough estimate.
FierceCold
Alright, and how much would each trip cost each of us in supplies? Oh and how long would these estimated 25 kills take?
Lord Diddy
Anywhere from 150-200k a trip depending on super restores and sweet. 25 Kills really doesn't seem like much, it would probably take less then an hour inside the room. Actually you might be spending more time getting kc then actually in the room.
toast647
80 range is terrible for sara. Get 90 and trio. Duo is a lot harder Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

FierceCold
I realize that, going to raise agility obviously. I've come back to RS after an 18 month break and i'm new to all this GWD stuff, apparently i missed the best parts of it. Have hilts and GWD armor/weps dropped dramatically?
