Unless you're not getting hit, or if the monster has magic based attacks and you have a way to cope with the losss of karils, bandos will be better meleeing. If you completely disregard the damage that you take though, void is better.

how much higher will i hit with void over bandos?

 

 

 

With MAXIMUM strength bonus and a godsword you would hit 35 with void, or 35 with bandos top+nottom+neitz+barrows gloves. So they are the same and I was wrong :lol: Based on tip.its max hit calculator. Also based on the calculator your max with a whip would be 28(for either) so if tip.its calc is correct, bandos is better in any situation when you don't need magic defense, but then again, I don't remember if void melee had an accuracy bonus, if it does, then that would be better.

 

 

 

EDIT: yes it has a 10% accuracy bonus(10% to you attack level), so you'll lose the 12 accuracy from barrows gloves and gain 10%, so you'll be hitting more often, but at the same max hit.

What he means is that you'd lose the +12 accuracy boost of barrows gloves by switching to void gloves, but then gain 10% of whatever accuracy bonus is left...I think, I'm not a void expert myself.

^Don't think void's percentage just takes the stat bonus and increase it by 10%, but at the same time it's more effective with higher attack and strength bonuses.

 

 

 

KB says it increases damage and accuracy so perhaps it is a combination of skill and stat bonus.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Oh lol.

 

 

 

Well it depends on what you are doing. If your killing a monster with low attack, use Void. If you need Defense for something, such as Abyssal Demons, use Bandos...

 

 

 

Well in case of high defence i would sugesst full drag if you can get it.. personally i use full bandos with dboots and dfs when i am grinding on drags and full drag on other monsters specially trolls and gaint rock crabs

Giant rock crabs? The only effective ways to kill them are mage and Verac's. Don't see how full dragon fits in there.

With anything that is not a gs, bandos will be better in every situaition.

 

With a god sword void will be better if you are not going to get hit/ are fighting a low level monster.

 

 

 

No, void is always better in terms of dealing damage, but bandos is better overall(except aganist mage based attackers) because of the strong melee and range defense.

Yep, with anything besides a godsword you will hit more with bandos.

According to our max hit calculator, the max hit is the same with maxed strength bonus for either bandos or void with a whip, and if my assumptions based off of the most recent postie pete thing are correct, you either hit or miss(based on your attack/accuracy bonus), and then have an equal chance of hitting anything between 0 and your max hit. So unless 12 slash bonus has more of an effect than your attack level being at 110%, void would make you hit more often. Since the maxes are the same, the only difference would be the number of times that you actually hit.

 

 

 

Bandos IS better overall, but void is better based purely on exp gain rates.
