Every so often, rs like backspaces, even though I'm not near the keyboard. I'm using the latest version of firefox. Any ideas?

about:config and look for the browser.backspace_action and set the value to 0 or even -1.

The page shouldn't be navigating back without him actually pushing the button.

 

 

 

My first guess would be malware, though I'm not certain. I'd run a spyware sweep just in case. >.>

Do you have a gamers mouse? I have one and it has 2 thumb buttons that, when in a browser, will backspace and fowardspace. I have accidently pressed them before

Could you explain your situation once more? Your mouse might have a function for back or something. You said you were playing rs right? Does it happen when on tif or other places?

thats wierd... it could be something unwanted on your comp. thats my best guess

It was just rs, and I have a mouse with a right button, left button, and a wheel in the middle.

Make sure that you don't have any addons that automatically backwards/forwards when it's idle for X amount of time.
