WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Its more cuboid than cube, the shape is waaaay off. The perspective is wrong, I bet the lines aren't parrarel either. You need more height for it to be a cube.

The handle is wrong, it's doesn't even look curved. and there's no shading at all which would help it look curved because you know handles look weird when drawn and stuff.

The fan on the right could use some more work instead of just crisscrossing it and what is that on top of the black circle? It looks like you've copied and pasted something (the gamecube logo?) onto there.

The shading is not so good, you've only shaded in the front panel rather than the whole thing. To help you with this, you just need to estabilish the light source.

Also, when you've written something (the nintendo logo and those two things above the circle) it would be best if it was eligible words rather than scribbles. But then if you can't write eligible words then don't do anything at all.

And your lineart is pretty messy.

You should do the lines like this:

Someone else will post more technical critism than mines soon enough :)

Hell yeah I do. Whats your msn?

That's how it all starts.

Next he's going to ask you what flavor of candy you enjoy and whats your favorite color van.

Perspective is your problem at the moment.

Decent, but there's a lot of things you could work on.

First thing is that it appears to be re-sized. As a general rule, don't do that. If you do, you're lines are bulky and there's a chance you can mess up your entire shape of your drawing.

Second thing would have to be linework. You did a fairly good job on this already, only a few mistakes here and there. If you're going to leave outlines make sure they're continuous, but don't overlap each other. Look at the image star posted for an example.

Next is perspective. When you're making a picture like this, using vanishing points takes only a few seconds but makes everything look better altogether. I'll show you what I mean.

See the difference? [Although my example isn't that great...]

Messing around with the location of your vanishing points can give the look you want, and is easy to do. If you have vanishing points, there a good distance away from the cube. The perspective might actually not be bad, just very strange.

Next important thing would be shading. I'm personally pretty bad at shading stuff, so the only tip I can really give is to pick a light source and make sure you stick with it. Areas that are darker usually have lower saturation than areas in the light.

For colors you did a good job. Most people who are fairly new tend to use ridiculously over-saturated colors.

That's all I can really think of right now, good luck with this in the future. :)

[bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

^ That covered most of the issues the drawing has, other than that it's not too bad. It's a start, but like said before, it will need quite a lot of refinement to make it look more realistic. The messy linework is also quite a major problem. It's always best to make sure your lines are clean and the perspective is accurate before you start adding any colour/detail/shading. If your linework is sloppy, it will show in the rest of the pixel drawing.

if you really wanted to you could make the gamecube isometric. Its not that much work to get it right. you make a cube with only 2x1 parts like so:

isocube.gif

the big cube is a blown up picture of a basic iso cube and the gamecube there just sucks b/c i didn't spend any time on it. Only there to give you a little idea. There's a lot of isometric tutorials floating around and you can find them with a little google-fu.

Doesn't play runescapes anymore

The side's top and bottom arent even parallel. The handle is 2d. The lines are all black, which looks bad. The curved part with the controller ports is messy. Do you really need someone to tell you this?
