February 14, 200917 yr hii, im new to the forums and i just wanted to ask some advice on my plans for runescape. right, im going to get my woodcutting to level 99 for a skill cape plus cash. with the cash i was going to buy bandos body and tassets and a bandos god sword. Then i was hopeing to get my strength to 99 with the bgs by going to pest control. i know this will take a long long time, but is it worth it? and is the bgs the best thing i cn get for strength? :D
February 14, 200917 yr Its a good Plan But Logs can go down in price which in term is bad for u But Bandos tasset and bandos godsword and etc can go down as well which is good for u Or They might come out with better amour/weapons by the time u finish your goal Atm its a good goal but keep these things in mind as well Btw Welcome to the forums Hyt
February 14, 200917 yr Hyt = hot young tramp [hide=]Or was it Hey you tip.it'er?[/hide] Welcome to Tif Pureprayer, you're awesome.
February 14, 200917 yr Welcome to the forums! I wouldn't buy a BGS myself, I've had a friend who bought one and sold it soon after because it wasn't as good as he heard. As Penguim said, a Saradomin Sword is the best for strength. Good luck on 99 woodcutting! I know I couldn't do it. I hate wc :wall: :wall: :wall: ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
February 14, 200917 yr As has been said before, ss > bgs for strength training. Best of luck on your goals :)
February 14, 200917 yr Get SS if possible, if note get Dscim+rune def. IDK if you should do PC, try armored zombies, haven't looked at your stats, so idk if your able to, if not do PC Welcome to TIF \ Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.[hide=Signature]R.I.P Billy Mays and <3 My Friend C.D.S 7/8/09 <360,816th to 99 Fletching 03/07/09|220,309th Person to be Able to Kill Dusties | 10 Year Cape on 12/20/14[/hide]
February 14, 200917 yr Your plan is a typical noob plan and destin for failure. Start by setting a goal of 85 woodcutting, then reassess. Godswords are junk, a new player like you should buy a whip and some barrows armour. Grow herbs and train slayer.
February 14, 200917 yr welcome to TIF! And go for your goals, but make sure they aren't too long term because you will lose interest. I say go for 85 wc or something first.
February 14, 200917 yr I would give the Bandos gear a miss at the moment & get a selection of Barrows Armour, together with the Sara Sword, which will work out alot cheaper, which hopefully, will save you from having to grind to 99 Woodcutting just to raise some cash. In the meantime, I would get your Slayer up to 83 which is where you really start seeing a return on your investment (my last task of 167 Spiritual Mages earned me 8 pairs of D Boots!!!!). Looking at your stats, from 60 - 83 will take a maximum of 2399372 xp, which on average should equate to 200 tasks from Duradel. Assuming you can do 75% of these tasks using Sara Sword you will also earn 7.2m Strength XP, in addition you will also get a decent chunk of HP xp. Tasks will also earn Slayer points which you can convert to Slayer Dart Runes & sell - you can probably retatin about 3k worth of points from 200 Duradel tasks (remember you will have 'spent' some of the points along the way Blocking & cancelling tasks you don't like). Slaying will also get you a large number of Clue Scrolls - Always do these, 1) they provide a natural break between tasks & 2) you can generate a considerabel sum of GP from rewards. Good Luck.
February 14, 200917 yr Do what the guy above said but also grow herbs between tasks. The cash adds up.
