About the shield issue: I use duradel and as far I remember he doesn't give any tasks that require a shield other than dragons. :P If he does i'll cry a lot before going to be a d scim. Darkbeasts are the only task I'd use a GS on over a SS. If my attack level was lower I'd consider abby demons aswell. TheLad1 Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 Personally, If the main aim is to get 99 Slayer I would get a Sara GS. The Prayer & Healing benefits when Slaying really do outweigh the fact it may be slightly slower. Your main offensive Slayer gear should consist of Whip, Sara GS, DFS & Rune Defender & vary these according to task.
