ladycai
My first time getting them as a slayer task ... what armor setup should I use? As of now, I'm thinking defender, slayer helm, karil's top, dragon skirt, barrow gloves, glory, dragon boots and skillcape. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Kimberly
I personally just use guthans, whip, and DFS. I don't encounter much trouble at all.
pureprayer
My first time getting them as a slayer task ... what armor setup should I use? As of now, I'm thinking defender, slayer helm, karil's top, dragon skirt, barrow gloves, glory, dragon boots and skillcape. We can assume you have no less then 40 and no more then 80. I have never killed these on a slayer task but I have killed a few. Judging by your stats you have a high magic level. If you were to use a Torags top and Karil Skirt you might have more success. You could also bring a dragon skirt they rarely mage you. Use monkfish at a small task size they are simple. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
ladycai
I acidentally drank about 6 doses of zammy brew before because I was too lazy to recharge at an altar, and noticed that my Def was still destroyed when I first started slaying them, and I'm actually hardly taking damage with a bunyip. I guess it's just tank armor from here then, thanks for the advice  Oh and as for my stats ... /pointstosig 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Unknown_Warrior
If you want Prot Melee and do the ones on the south island. Though high enough defence should allow simple tanking. Take Barrows if you do. You could always bring Karils + Prot Melee and Cannon on the north side of the island.
