I hear u can but u need to long range ir from one of the buildings in the corner of its cell It will take a while though so bring a good supply of arrows

You can do it. One of my 1 def pures did it with a cbow. Use apple pies :thumbsup:

Dragons (metal dragons excluded) are resistant to magic hence why all range armour is made of dragon hide leather and rangers a are strong over mages.

Melee is by far the quickest option. But if you are intent of ranging you MUST use a CROSSBOW in F2P, because if you wield a bow you'll forfeit the Anti-dragonshield. Without that you're most likely toast.

Nope, I did it without dragonshield easily: if you mage pray and stand on a distance the dragonfire attack won't hurt you!

it took me 1 try and like 45 in mith around 30 def 40 atk idk str and hp like 5-10 swordies

Well first off if my experience with normal dragons is correct protect from mage prayer only gives you partial protection, which means the dragonfire still has a chance of inflicting serious damage.

 

 

 

When I was at Mithril dragons and used a whip with DFS, the max damage I got was about 8 (when I wasn't using Antifires). However when I tried to Godsword them with Mage Prayer, they still hit 20s and rare 30s on me. You're risking a lot more.

was 80 range, 40 def when i took it down 10 shots of bronze xbow and bolts. ive seen others with like 60 range and 1 def do it too so you can do it

rune chain and full helm (substitute addy in if your not getting 40 def before you do this)

 

bronze xbow and bolts

 

antifire shield

 

power ammy and maybe a cape

 

explorer ring

 

 

 

bring swordies and the highest i was hit was 10. swordies heal 14 so youll do fine. if you run out of food (very unlikely) just go bank with explorer ring and try another round.. if its a dead world then noone should have taken your kill and ull be right where u left off (+ whatever he healed when u were gone)

my pure and Lady Cai did not use safespots. You'll get hit by it's attacks regardless where you stand.

yep no safe spot i took off my shield for a video and ended up 1 hit specced witha 48!

if you train up your range a little bit more you can do it
