alright well i havent played in a year and a half. me and bro started playing again.. ill get to the point.. my bro decided to give me a whip... well it wouldnt let us trade it for free.. so we figure hey, pvp, ill kill him i get it... no... i kill him and it disappears... WTF !!! this new system is terrible... is there anyway him and i can trade stuff without giving things in return.. that is so stupid ... RL friends cant share things ...

And no, he can't give you a whip. You can only lend items for a set ammount of time. Pretty stupid to just kill your friend without reading up on the PvP worlds. Your own fault.

Yep. You missed the boat. Trading, Merching, Staking, and Pking were all removed about a year and a half ago.

Anyway, the autoers were selling in-game items to people, and some of the farmers were using stolen credit cards to buy membership credits. So they "had no choice" but to remove unbalanced trading. The wildy, and the old system are gone for good, no point in complaining to anyone. I could go into a rant about how other games have handled this better, but i'll just leave it there.

Do what everyone else does. Earn your items. This is pretty simple. When you come back to RS, it's always a good idea to read the updates you missed. This way, you don't end up doing something noobish. I have to agree with "theday..." that Jagex could have handled the situation better, but since I don't have a solution and we hve to deal with this, better get used to it.

This has been on for about a year now. Sorry you had to figure out this way, but the complaining threads were a year ago too, sorry.
