I have about 30m to spend and I want to get another 99. I was thinking of getting crafting. I currently have a Fletching cape and Cooking cape, but they're popular 99 and I wanted something which is rare.

 

 

 

At the moment, I have 81 crafting. I am buying about 700 battlestaffs per day (600 from GE, 32 from Zaff and another 100 from friends) and making them into air battlestaffs. This is pretty good exp but I can only buy a limited amount so its going kinda slow.

 

 

 

I wanted to find another way to get 99 and was thinking about glassblowing unpowered orbs. If I bought the molten glass, made the orbs and then sold, I would lose about 30m, which is all the money I have at the moment. I would need 206k orbs, does anyone know how much exp per hour I could get with this?

 

 

 

Are there any other better ways?

Lunar Spells Make Glass... I think all you need is the bucket of Sand, and Some Seaweed in your inventory, you also get "extra" glass out of the deal as well... Could cut down on your cost I bet

30m is enough for 99 crafting with green d'hide bodies. You could tan the hides yourself and then craft them with a normal needle, or a Stealing Creation needle to make it twice as cheap. Or you could buy tanned hides and craft them yourself with a normal needle, or a Stealing Creation needle to make it twice as cheap. If you decide on the Stealing Creation needle, buy tanned hides or else it will take a long, long time.

I find a variety of crafting tasks helps take boredom out of it. I have 91 and am slowly making progress. Get Varrock armour lvl 3 to enable you to get the extra battle staffs (64) a day.

 

Make some amulets and when on lunar for superheating glass use the spell to string them.

You could easily do Green D'Hide Bodies with 30m, even if you dont have SC needle. It is highly reccomended that u get SC needle though, as it helps a lot.

How can you say its less than 30m for 99 craft with Green Bodies. Even tho the experience cost 5gp each these days. Multiply it with the rest exp you need.

That is only a GE limit. You can trade with other players with no limit.

There are a few things you can do.

 

1) Put a shed lot of cash in MTK and get some cash to pay back the loss.

 

2) Assist slayers, there are a lot of slayer out there who have the ability to make slayer rings, but need a crafter like yourself.

 

3) Get the second seers diary and spin flax or simply use the cash from the flax to add to the pot.

 

4) Lunar make glass, you get a small amount of crafting exp per buck as well as cheap molten glass (not to mention some nice magic exp)

 

 

 

Ok 1 and 3 are more general usage, but help none the less.
