Okay so I get on RS today, and im muted for 5 days. When i check the evidence in the appeal page on RS the only evidence it says is "Intermagma: Lol mat, do you like tubes that are red?" How can I get muted 5 days for that?? And for breaking rule 11? Pfft. I submitted an appeal to Jagex but they only replied "Sorry, but you have been muted for 5 days regardless of your appeal." WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?? I also know who muted me. Did runescape have any right to mute me?

Runescape doesn't mute, Jagex does. And yes, they do have the right. They still own the accounts.

Yeah so my clan was talking about something today when I logged on, but I didn't see what it exactly was. As soon as I enter the cc something comes up saying: "Gotta love them Blue Tubes mat xD". Then another friend of mine says "Nah He likes GreenTube xD". Then there was some random talk about differant color "tubes" which I have no idea what it is. So just trying to act cool and all I reply: "Lol mat, do you like tubes that are red?" even though I have no idea what a tube is. Any I still have no Idea what a Red Tube has anything to do with porn. I just don't see the connection.

Is that your idea of a positive contribution? "tubes that are red?" Chipping in your 2 cents when you've got no idea what the pot is for? Hmm?

 

JK - however this does bring up a rather interesting perspective - someone else's.

 

 

 

At lunch a year ago, I used to sit with my friends, and we'd talk. There was this one kid who sat there, and laughed whenever we laughed, especially when it was an inside joke, which he would have absolutely no idea.

 

One time we decided to test this, and I told a story which made absolutely no sense and could not possibly have been funny to anyone who didn't know what was going on. To put it quite plainly, I said - "Hey Alex, you remember that time when we were all like, squirrels and stuff and it was great?" He responded, yeah, that was awesome *laughter*. And then that other kid started laughing too; made him look [developmentally delayed]ed.

 

 

 

Could it possibly be that your clan was talking about something borderline inappropriate, perhaps they were referencing this porn site, just using a different color than red, and you had to just join in and put in your 2 cents? And there's someone watching this chat ... ok its a little raunchy or a bit inappropriate, but at least its still not explicitly talking about the porn site, where you join in and ... oops. That just crossed the line.
