i recently heard that you can have a pvp fight with someone while both weilding only bronze daggers and 25k and since the fight will supposedly last a long time you get good drops...i dindt know if this was true, and if it is is it against the rules

you would both need skulls and both would need 25000 coins on them and yes you could end up with good drops because your losing 25000 coins when you die and your risking 25000 coins if you win the fight.

 

Whats your lvl? and you have to spend 1 hour and 30 mins in a hot zone to build up to the best potenial so you get a good drop.

drop potential is better gathered sitting bored in a hotspot rather than fighting, as it takes hours to get the rly high potential up. Other than that this should work :

I would suggest simply skilling to pass the time (like woodcutting magics at the elven place). It takes hours to get a good potential, you know. Or instead of bronze daggers, you could simply airstrike in full metal armor.

The combat thing is safety, being in combat with somebody else stops you getting pk'd losing your 75k+ risk, annoyingly monsters and npc's (well, varrock guards) don't work for protection.

 

 

 

Try bronze bolts/crossbow on longrange with tank melee gear, i've used that quite a bit, or air striking.

Tanking gear does the job just as well, your not going to be attacked if your standing there unskulled in torags and DFS. Air striking is risky, people who air strike think they are safe to switch away from the RS screen. I've seen countless air strikers not notice that their partner got a random, and ripped through their d hide with claws.

Unless you mean removed with the random event update last week, they are on PVP worlds.

 

 

 

I guess comp, its down to personal prefference, i preffer the safety of being in combat.

I was air striking with my friend for 3 and a half hours, we ran into the bank and got randoms (both of us at the same time). Maybe you can't get them in a non safe zone.

It might have changed with the random update (Doubt it, you can get them in your house now), but I have personally watched air strikers get randoms and KOed them with claws while their partner frantically shouted for them to come back to the screen before the update.
