Low C
Should I raise my prayer from 75-80. Its costing me 5.5m and will get me to 1900 total. I like prayer and have always thought about getting it to 99 but dont have the money to go that far with it so I thought maybe I should start raising it due to Jagex saying they will release a new prayer update in the future. llamster
2 extra points per dose is handy. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
Dax
I'd get it, but only if I had plenty of spare cash. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
stormveritas
We've heard that we're going to get a prayer update soon; it makes sense to do it now rather than when prices [bleep]e too much higher.

Not quite, we've heard that they are in the early stage of developing a new prayer update. Which means that it might still take a few months. They also mentioned that combat-based updates always require more attention because it has to stay balanced. So I wouldn't expect a prayer update 'soon'. If you have about 10 spare mils lieing around in your bank, I'd say go for it. But that's me, I like to have some backup cash ;) AwF_Suir1 in-gameClick here to read about RuneScape Must-Haves! Yep, I agree, if you're tempted and have the cash to burn, best do it now. In any case, you can get back money but you can't lose xp.
Phrost
I'm facing the same dilemma, although from 71-80. I'm very tempted to go for it and I advise you to do the same ;) Even if the prayer updates are far you can still take some advantage of 5 extra prayer levels. As someone earlier mentioned, 2 extra prayer points from each dose is really handy in certain situations. Whichever you decide, good luck
SwreeTak
If you have more than enough cash then you should go for it. You can always have use for a few more extra prayer points. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
gorgoroth
Well seeing as you already have a very high prayer level compared to your Combat stats i would not waste the money on Prayer yet. Rather use the money on getting 94Magic or 85+ Ranged. Wait till the new Prayer update is out (even if it is in a few months). Im pretty sure the update is going to make Prayer training a bit easier/faster. You might end up wasting your money on prayer now and regretting it later. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
